EDM Republic was founded in September 2013 as an offshoot of Introspect Recordings to focus on the rapidly growing EDM Culture both in our native Barbados and across the Caribbean.  The team is made up of Jason Cobham, Josiah Kirton, Kevin Bowen and Jason Edey.  All four of us have a true passion for this music even though we may prefer different sub-genres within the EDM landscape. The EDM Republic team is also made up of persons like yourself looking at our site and fully living the best of the EDM culture everyday.

There is great talent in music, fashion and the arts in this region and we are committed to showcasing it all on our website and Video Magazine. He started out with the legendary Dj Carlos in 2007 on the Essential Mix @ Mix 96.9 FM in Barbados and has continued to develop his skills in both the production and DJ'ing fields. He is one of several producers and promoters who is trying to break the scene bigtime in the island.

Retro Jay is a producer from the island of Rihanna. He initially started out with a love for trance but has eventually switched paths onto the Techno, Tech House and Dubstep trains. One of the leaders in the development of the EDM scene in Barbados, lookout for his music soon under the Introspect Recordings label and several other international labels. Retro Jay's style includes Tech House, Techno , Nu Disco, Dubstep and Progressive. Lookout for the 1st music video coming soon. Stay tuned!
