“Waiting” is the very first song I ever wrote. I was 18 years old and living away from home for the first time. I’ve never recorded it due to the extremely personal feelings I have that inspired it, but the time felt right to finally record one take of it live at home. This version was born out of a morning text thread just two people shaking their heads at the headlines
Perry said it best: “Wouldn’t surprise me if we wake up one day and the country’s name has changed to the United Corporations of America.”
That line lit the fuse.

Because that’s what this piece really is a wake-up call wrapped in distortion.
It’s a protest with rhythm, a sermon with feedback.
Gold-plated walls won’t muffle the sound of truth breaking through.

This track is for everyone who still believes art can punch holes in hypocrisy.
Who knows silence helps the powerful most.
Who turns the volume up when the system says “tone it down.”

And yeah, this one’s for Perry.
For the spark, the snarl, and the reminder that sometimes the only way to drown out the noise…
is to make your own.

Independent artist making songs that rock.

I don’t know about you but I miss hearing songs that just rock.  A couple of guitars, bass, drums, vocals, and harmonies make such a powerful combination.  It’s this power and energy that I’m after in the songs I record.
I perform all parts on these recordings unless otherwise specified. I’m primarily a guitar player and never considered myself a singer but I started doing it to complete my songs and I may be finding a voice for myself.
I’m open to collaboration so reach out if you’d like to work on some tracks.  I don’t have any rap on my tracks, don’t listen to much rap, but I have a couple of incomplete songs I’m interested in brining some rap into.  So let me know if any of you rappers want to collaborate with a rocker.
Recording, mixing, mastering is just as much of a hobby as playing the music is.  If you’d like another ear on your mix or some mastering done, drop me a message.  I’m not looking for money for it, just the opportunity to practice my skills on other artists work, see what I can do, and help a fellow musician.
