Julia Vera is a San Francisco-based, globe-trotting DJ building dancefloor journeys at the crossroads of global electronic sounds. Performing under moniker “Julia Vera” in honor of her grandmother Vera (“faith”), Julia treats every set like a shared ritual between DJ and crowd.

Her relationship with music began early, loud enough that neighbors complained until a Walkman arrived and turned the noise into a private universe she could take with her anywhere. By 12, she was already running a tiny side hustle, curating custom mixtapes for kids at school and learning how to tell stories through other people’s tracks.

Growing up on classic rock, hip hop, drum & bass, and artists like Chase & Status, Pendulum, Thievery Corporation, Groove Armada, and Pink Floyd, Julia’s taste has always been borderless. Living in Goa and raving at jungle parties and nonstop dance marathons proved truly formative, locking in the hypnotic, rolling energy that defines her sound today.

On the decks, Julia Vera leans into journey-driven sets, playing with tension, release, and pure momentum, inviting dancers into a space where time stretches, sweat glows, and the music feels like it might never stop.
