Deep & Progressive Sensations #072 | Meditation Through Music - 120 BPM

DJ Lion started his album tour On The Verge" already on September 16
at the Berlin club Ritter Butzke. With over 300 tracks released, you
can hear his music regularly in sets of acts like Dubfire, Richie
Hawtin and Sven Väth. In 2009 Resident Advisor called him "Eastern
Europe's h hottest export“. His diverse, playful sound is a joy for
every techno enthusiast.Under his social media posts he uses the
hashtags #melodictechno and #psytechno to describe his sound. The
tracks "Accelerando" and "Psychotronic" in particular fall under the
"Psy" category. If you want to dance the night away, both tracks will
serve you well. The track Zeitgeist does what Zeitgeist usually does,
it hammers itself into our heads at 130 BPM. "Cosmic Mystery" features
this sixteenth bass run that has always characterized techno - here in
a track that seems classic. The album stands under the motto straight
forward, an ultimately danceable, driving techno with thick, biting
sub bass and selected parts that are rich in acid and progressive
influences. Anyway, the tracks are anything but dull and boring.
The album with a total of 16 tracks comes out on November 25

Metallic claps and rimshots strike like sparks off stone, their sharp accents reverberating through haze and shadow.

This series fuses deep Amapiano swing, the raw weight of Durban Gqom, and the forward drive of modern techno. Whistles drift like spectral signals above the mix, tribal shakers flicker like firelight, and the bass breathes with the force of an air hangar shifting air. Minimal melodies bleed in as fractured chords, eerie drones, and evolving arpeggios that dissolve into silence before reemerging with greater force. Pads bloom like rising fog, pulling listeners into a suspended state between tension and release.

These aren’t just tracks — they are rituals of movement and memory. A fusion of industrial rhythm and ancestral resonance, rendered with cosmic weight and surreal emotional gravity. RONU signature: cinematic depth, global textures, hypnotic percussion, and a soundscape designed for late-night festivals, underground basements, and endless ascension.

Eddie Caruso

Eddie is originally from South Africa and came to Austria when his home country still struggled with Apartheid. The family relocated to Vienna in the late 80’s. From a very young age Eddie was exposed to a massive amount of music, due to the fact that his father is a full on musician and artist.

Over the course of time, techno was born and so was Eddie's love for it. During the 1990’s with the first Techno parties and festivals, Eddie soon discovered his passion and love for electronic, especially techno and playing it on Vinyl. Over the past 20 years he collected an enormous amount of classics and contemporary vinyl. Furthermore he started producing his own tracks as well as discovered new means of playing music on CDJ's, controllers and a live set up.

He played in the biggest clubs in Vienna such as Flex, Exil and many more. Also he is co-founder of Techno Kitchen and member of the Label Leisure Music Productions.

Eddie is a very talented and versatile DJ with a long time knowledge of electronic music and a master in mixing it.
