THE TEARAWAYS combine the influence of the British Invasion with the California Sound with a touch of the Ramones, Clash and Blondie thrown in to deliver high energy performances wherever they perform.

John Finseth, Greg Brallier, David Hekhouse, and Clem Burke comprise the quintet that broke from the Santa Barbara indie scene from their simple origins back in 1981 playing in Isla Vista, Goleta and Santa Barbara.

Paul West, the troubadour rocker of Hawaii brings red dirt country rock blended with seventies folk rock right to your ears with songs and stories.

Paul West’s sound and style brings Red Dirt Country melded with a seventies folk rock sound to the modern listener. 

The entirety of the album was written by Paul and his wife Jenifer and it was produced by Ed Stasium (Ramones, Talking Heads, Living Color and many more). The album also features the legendary Kenny Aronoff on drums and Stevie Salas on lead guitar along with many other talented players. 

Leading of with “My Kind of Pain”… a hymn to the struggles of a great relationship but where your other human still does “that thing” driving you nuts. 
Through the listen of the album folk country sways into searing guitar solo’s, then bouncy blues rock and roll and swaying into heartfelt ballads.
