Lucy is the nom de techno of Italian-born and Berlin-based Luca Mortellaro, one of the genre’s most exciting and ambitious DJ/producers. Since 2009, Mortellaro has focused his work through his own Stroboscopic Artefacts label, building an imprint and personal discography that has established itself as one of techno’s finest.
Lucy (née Luca Mortellaro) is one of the pre-eminent sonic adventurers of his time. Not bound to conventional pre-conceptions of what an electronic musician, producer, or DJ must be, Lucy has evolved his distinct sound signature by reconciling the deeply personal with the esoteric, and by harmonizing the spheres of technology and biology. In doing so, he has become rare as an artist, in his ability to please an audience while also introducing them to elements they were not yet familiar with and thereby pushing them out of their comfort zone. Whether he is acting in the role of producer, DJ, performer, or Stroboscopic Artefacts’ curator, Lucy’s clear passion for creative evolution and mutation is something that continues to attract new listeners, and keeps giving his current supporters new reasons to continue tuning in.

Abstract Division is a long-standing collaboration of Paul Boex and Dave Miller, a Dutch electronic music producer and DJ duo. Next to running their label Dynamic Reflection and its sub-label Morphologies, they stimulated the Dutch underground scene with their well-known DECODE parties.

With over 30 years of collective experience under their belt, the established duo of Abstract Division is bringing deep, hypnotic and energetic techno sets to any club, rave or festival. They have performed at prominent festivals like Awakenings, Monegros Desert Festival, Time Warp, BAUM Festival, Audioriver, Loveland and some of the best venues including Berghain, Fuse, Fabrik Madrid, RSO, Radion and many more.

During many years of collaboration, the duo managed to create their own unique sound. Their in-depth knowledge of sound engineering enables them to release year after year refreshing productions and each new track marks a subtle evolution in sound.

If you want to trace the beginnings of DJ Pete's status in Techno culture, you have to go back a very long way. He emerged as a DJ in the pioneering days of the Berlin scene during the late 80s and joined Hard Wax in 1991.

As a producer he made his name with the first release on Chain Reaction in 1995, a sub-label of the Basic Channel imprint, together with René Löwe aka Vainqueur as Scion. Scion also released the first commercially available CD ever produced with the then newly developed software Ableton Live in 2002 and later continued their collaboration as Substance & Vainqueur on the label Scion Versions. Substance, the acclaimed alias DJ Pete uses for his own productions has a back catalogue of highly influential solo efforts and an impressive string of acclaimed remixes for pivotal Techno artists like Juan Atkins, Regis, Kessell, Orphx, Robert Hood, Rhythm & Sound, Monolake or Shed, among many others.

DJ Pete earned similar respect behind the decks, combining highly individual yet refined mixing skills with both his vast encyclopedic knowledge of Techno history and an unquenchable thirst for new sounds that carry the potential to push all boundaries. Beyond that his energetic sets also incorporate elements of pure Techno, the Hard Wax tradition and powerful House tracks. His seemingly unlimited scope is informed by frequent Dynamic Tension nights at Tresor in the late 90s with Surgeon and his residency at Berghain since its opening, as well as countless successful gigs at the most crucial nights of the scene's international circuit. He is also known to merge Techno with Dubstep and selecting Reggae, particularly while working the mighty Killasan sound system as core DJ member of the seminal Wax Treatment events.

DJ Pete's lauded signature style also benefits from his numerous experiences as part of the cherished live acts TR-101 (an improvisational live act in collaboration with Sleeparchive), Scion (either with or without vocalist Paul St. Hilaire), and gigs with many other likeminded DJ innovators. A typical DJ Pete performance is always delivering an array of programming, sequencing, layering and live effects that goes well beyond a mere presentation of tracks. True to Techno's original claim, innovations in sound and technology are intuitively employed to achieve a floor sensation that manages to involve the crowd on as many levels as possible.

Dude Club was born five years ago and it’s now at its third season in the venue at Via Boncompagni, 44 in Milan.
During this period Dude Club has established itself as a benchmark for the clubbing scene not only in Milan but also throughout Italy and abroad. This recognition was achieved through a rich music program (more than 100 dates only last season), focused on the showcase of the best national and international sounds. “Underground” is often a overstated definition, but DUDE really makes it by involving not only those DJs and Producers who shaped - and continue shaping - the story of clubbing, but also emerging and niche artists both from the Techno and the House world scene.
The headliners usually perform in the main room (but this is not a strictly rule), to which we refer when we speak of "Dude Club". It’s a large dark room facing the console with ceiling lights that light up the dancing crowd like a flashing chessboard.
The second room, called Osservatorio Astronomico (that means Astronomical Observatory), is a cozy dance floor mainly dedicated to the club’s Resident DJs and to independent parties. The sounds range from jazz, funk and disco to house and electronic sperimentation. Here the atmosphere is softer thanks to incandescent lights and sofas.
The highlight of the room is the excellent cocktail bar. It boasts a special drink list which is served by expert mixologists, according to the successful idea (promoted first by Dude Club in Milan) that it’s possibile to have a great drinking experience also at late night in the clubs.
In both rooms of the club, to ensure an impeccable sound, it is set up a VOID Soundsystem.

Ne ha sancito l’autorevolezza la ricca programmazione musicale, focalizzata sulla ricerca del miglior sound nazionale e internazionale. Scena Underground è una definizione spesso sopravvalutata, ma il DUDE se ne fa portavoce coinvolgendo tra gli ospiti in consolle sia gli artisti emergenti e di nicchia, sia i capisaldi della techno e dell’house mondiale.
Gli headliner si esibiscono principalmente nella main room, a cui ci si riferisce quando si parla di “Dude Club”. Un’ampia sala scura fronteggia la consolle, mentre il soffitto si illumina a scacchi sopra la folla danzante.
Nella seconda sala, chiamata Osservatorio Astronomico, trovano ampio spazio i resident che dalla consolle dominata da un mixer Rotary sono protagonisti di djset dai suoni più caldi, tra jazz, disco, house ma anche sperimentazioni elettroniche.
L’Osservatorio Astronomico è caratterizzato da un’atmosfera più morbida grazie a luci a incandescenza e divanetti che circondano una pista raccolta. Il vero gioiello della sala è il cocktail bar d’eccellenza, che vanta una drink list curata nel dettaglio e servita da bartender esperti nella miscelazione - secondo una cultura del bere anche di notte (primi a lanciarla a Milano) che negli anni ha riscosso grande successo. La drink list è creata in collaborazione con PINCH, cocktail bar milanese d’eccellenza sotto la guida dell’apprezzato bartender Mattia Lissoni.
In entrambe le sale del club, ad assicurare un’esperienza del suono impeccabile, è allestito un impianto VOID.
