"One for Florian" is the second track between Psalm Trees and ALEXANDER, together known as Spirit of Naima. The song, as well as the upcoming album, strays from Chillhop's beat world and steps into modern jazz, full of organic instrumentation and live sounds. This one feels like visiting a record store after sunset, watching the rain hit the window as you dig through crates. The piano and the electric guitar steal the show with this instrumental, while the bass guides us along and the saxophone makes a welcome appearance halfway through. Calm and cool, through and through.

This song samples the jazz tracks under their duo's moniker Spirit of Naima, which we're releasing at the same time. Building a jazz album from scratch and then sampling those elements to make jazzy hip-hop beats, Psalm Trees is showing us how it's done, one step at a time, from start to finish. "Seu Trio" is a piano-driven, horn-heavy jazzhop track. Perfect for waking up in the morning, brewing some coffee, and starting the day.
