I’m pretty sure this is the most honest song I’ve ever written. I’m guilty of just tossing coins down the wishing well, hoping things will change for the better while doing nothing about it. I think we all are. Maybe it’s living in this town that’s holding me back. Maybe it’s this relationship. Maybe it’s this job, or these friends, or these beliefs. This song explores my inner battle between presenting an outward image of progress while sitting stagnant inside. “I’m petrified of being alone, but I’m terrified of being known” is the contradiction that keeps many of us from intimacy, from vulnerability, and ultimately from being accepted, understood, and known. This song is best listened to anywhere in Los Angeles on a day when you feel like giving up.

Second single from upcoming EP, "Nostalgia".

I reached out to @lanvark-music after discovering him on a music forum. He had a voice and tone that I thought was an absolute perfect fit for the soundscape of this track. All the way from Spain, he agreed to help me and we got to work on it right away. I'm very grateful he loaned his voice to the project and can't wait to keep working on projects in the future.

"Questions", is a song about asking why things have to turn out the way they do in regards to this person you're trying to detach yourself from, how you ended up falling in love only for it to be wasted because there's no way you and this person could realistically work out,

Dream-pop duo teepee releases their latest single ‘parallel world’ from their upcoming album ‘Where the Ocean Breaks’, slated to drop on 31 January 2020 via @Springstoff.

“Everyone is searching for happiness, but maybe we are looking for it in the wrong places. While living in India, I finally realized that happiness is rooted within ourselves. It’s not about how many things you have, or how successful you are. No one else can make you happy if you are not happy within yourself. This song is about the parallel world that exists in all of us, but we just have a hard time to find it in this toxic society,” says Tereza.

“For me, out of many other places, I found my parallel world in the ocean. While living in the Basque Country, I had the chance to go to the beach almost every day, sometimes learning to surf, or only to watch the waves. The place where the ocean breaks thus became very special for me – a place of peace and concentration,” adds Miroslav.
