To celebrate the 40th anniversary of Wham!’s iconic holiday hit Last Christmas, French producer, singer, and multi-instrumentalist Edgar Everyone presents a groovy and mesmerizing version of the classic tune.

"I grew up in Paris, and I remember that as a kid, there weren’t many Christmas songs that excited me – most of them felt like cheesy tunes sung to kids who still believe in Santa Claus. But one day, I heard Last Christmas, and it really got me moving! It was clearly an international hit, cheesy too in its own way, but it was the first time I heard George Michael’s voice. I was an instant fan."

A French expat who has called California home for the last eight years, Edgar Everyone is a seasoned musician and accomplished producer. He’s been an on-and-off member of bands like Kunzite (ex-Ratatat), Low Hum, Geographer, Possible Oceans, and CARRÉ. After several years working behind the scenes in recording studios, producing and mixing records for the L.A. indie scene, Edgar felt the pull to return to his original passion: writing his own songs and performing live music to connect with audiences.

Edgar’s music blends multiple genres, ranging from electronic and pop to groovy beats and alternative funk textures, as heard in his previous release Who’s The Dreamer?.
Building on the momentum of previous singles like U PUSH ME and his collaborations with artists like Florian Gouello, Edgar has big plans for 2025. He’s eager to take his musical contributions to the next level: “My challenge for the next year is to feed more data to the big algorithms so they can better understand what I’m proposing musically (which is not easy when you’re navigating multiple genres). My goal is to release a single every month. I have so many unfinished songs I want to share with the world, and it was only my perfectionism that was holding me back."
