Time With You

This track was forgotten and discovered during a bitter-sweet personal week with the passing of a family member and the strenthening of existing family ties.  Rebirth seemed appropriate.

Hi all,
I'm really enjoying recording on my old Challen upright piano. I find you can express yourself so much better than you can with a vst. The piano is not the finest quality, but I do enjoy playing it and I think it has a certain charm. I'm planning to release an album in the next few months so I'd be really pleased to have your feedback :)

October Memories

I got a new digital piano last night. It's got a completely different feel to it, much more realistic. This means that the "patterns" of notes I often play feel completely different so it's more like I've got new fingers!!!

While composing this, it was raining wet snow here in Finland and leaves were falling from trees. I put my feelings of ending summer in this piece. It was nice summer :)

Ein Spaziergang mit Herrn Euler (A Walk With Mr. Euler)

After a hot day & mowing the lawns, I had a rest under the tree in our backyard (see picture in track title) & a musical theme came to me. A cool drink later & then I recorded this piece. I haven't done a solo piano piece for a while. Lately I've been adding string backing & other instruments, so it was great to get back to my roots. Enjoy!
