"We present a solid EP by Madrid-based Groof. This release sees Lotus Parable leaning into harder sounds, still with a deep and psychedelic signature. The tracks carry both emotional depth and the kind of energy that pulls you onto the dancefloor. We’ve seen it in action during our label night event series, connecting with the crowd at exactly the right moments. And the positive response is what inspired us to share it with you.

Explaining the process, Groof said: “This EP contains a series of tracks that I produced without a preconceived idea, concept or direction. Instead, I created music in a totally free way, for the listener to experience and interpret in their own way. There is just one exception – ‘Maar’ – a track dedicated to the surrealist artist Dora Maar, whose work and legacy deserve more recognition than she received in her time."

As the 62nd guest of the Set the Mood series, SKARÆ is introduced as a 23-year-old producer and DJ from Culemborg, known for his thoughtful and dynamic approach to sound. For him, a perfect opening set is a slow burn, a journey that ebbs and flows in energy and rhythm while maintaining a hypnotic momentum.

This week on our LAB series, we return with our 24th edition and welcome HÅKK to the series.

Based in Breda, HÅKK has been carving his path with a sound that’s hypnotic, groove-driven, and stripped to its essence, rolling rhythms and raw minimal energy built for long nights and deep focus. As one of the minds behind HENOSIS and with appearances at clubs like RADION and Basis, he’s steadily becoming a name to watch in the Dutch underground.

For our LAB024, HÅKK delivers a mix that embodies his vision: steady, flowing, and uncompromisingly his own.
