Giri, known also as Gi Napoletano, was born in Naples. Started playing with electronic music at 13 with a makeshift daw, Music, a Playstation videogame. His techno attitude has been more and more influenced by Detroit's Second Wave and UK techno scene.

He released tracks on Awry, Evod, Srie, Prophet, No Signal, Axis and others, and performed alongside artists such as Laurent Garnier, Steve Bicknell, Juan Atkins, Anthony Rother, Moritz von Oswald, Octave One, Matthew Herbert, Scan 7 and so on. In 2020 he founded his own label: Antiterra, whose name sums up the sci-fi concept of a theoretical planet in the Solar System which shares its Orbit with Earth and is constantly eclipsed by the Sun.

This set recorded for us reflects his musical vision that its clearly recognized in his productions as well. Sci-fi, deep and gritty techno that takes listeners float into another dimension. Enjoy the ride!

On this first release on Lømsk Records, four characterful & sly tracks reside.

Starting with “Greven”, its focus is on an eroding & melodic synth line, with pulsating & abundant drums and clattering hi-hat patterns. Next comes “Skamsen” twisting things with wriggle-inducing detuned polyrhythmic sequences & straight machine funk. With the two tracks on the B-side, things take a shifty turn with the first one being the nervous “Svett”, a sweaty energy entity with haunting reverse elements. The record rounds off with “40W”, a hysterical action-filled no-nonsense track rooted in classic dance-floor action.

Lømsk Records, masterminded by Alexander Johansson & Mattias Fridell, is dedicated to our own musical output, is firmly rooted in the mindset and spirit of utilizing a somewhat playful & mischievous, but always genuine, approach to the concept of underground dance music and as a label.

An approach that is faithful & influenced by the characteristics of old Swedish labels & artists we were inspired by as young techno enthusiasts. These are also components we often feel are deprived in the world of contemporary electronic music. And when something is repressed it’s natural to seek to add to it. FillIng the vacuum.

It’s equal parts being faithful as well as paying homage to an idea & spirit that we revere, both then and now. We believe molding the mentality from the past with our current devotion to electronic music is the ideal direction for us. The name itself spins on this, “lömsk” roughly translates to “sneaky” “sly” or “shifty”. You may rely on us.

Paris’ dc11 is back on data roaming records with a solo ep this time. Three original tracks and a remix by Jacobworld. Hello Sunshine is a full forward loop that takes no time to bring you up to speed, raspy and punchy. Deep is all rolling bass and has a subaquatic edge to it while still remaining forceful and dancefloor oriented. The EP’s title track is a mostly percussive affair, summoning the mighty power of the drum machine with reverbs breathing in and out for added atmosphere. Finally, Jacobworld’s remix of Deep makes you want to plunge head first into the night, managing to up the pressure from the original track while making it even… deeper.
