San Francisco-based dub techno imprint Alt Dub serve up their second platter in the form of a split extended player from Echospace Detroit label boss Stephen Hitchell aka cv313 and Alt Dub boss Federsen. Pressed on heavy-weight 180g marble vinyl, ‘Sequential Space‘ EP delivers two solo tracks and two dub interpretations from each producer resulting in four dub techno weapons of the highest fidelity from the two artists. Essential!!

Caldera returns to Berlin-based Nummer Music with a stunning remix, just over a year after his “5D Worlds” EP was released on the label. 

The original track is a playful & eclectic 11 minute journey from 1994, filled with fun moments of breaks, samples & warm FM chords. It’s seeing the light again as Nummer’s first reissue on the label, originally released 30 years ago on French label Virtual by Parisian-born / Okinawa-based producer Paul Mahoux aka BùLù.

Caldera’s remix is a smooth & floaty ride, gradually building over the course of its entirety, a patient display of tension & release. Right away you can hear some of Caldera’s very distinct sounds & recognizable stylistic choices - otherworldly textures which bring an airy sheen to the higher end of the frequency spectrum as well as sharp yet delicate percussion. There is a warm, crystal clear low end & about halfway through, sub that hits right in the chest for a moment of pure bliss as the energy of the track softly dissipates in the second half. 

“Silicon-Shepard / Senegalese-Sharpshooter” will release on December 6th on Nummer Music in both physical & digital formats. In the meantime, make sure to dive into Caldera’s Delayed with… mix which was released back in early October.

To commemorate 15 years of Jeton Records, we launched a remix contest around one of our biggest releases to date, Uncertain’s peak-time weapon “Damage.” 

With 120+ submissions from around the globe, we were blown away by the creativity and passion. After careful selection, we’re proud to present a special remix pack featuring the top three winners: 

Antwerp’s Phil Telloc with a deep, rhythmic rework; 

Germany’s System 97 bringing a driving, hardgroove interpretation; 

and The Outlier from Zaragoza, Spain, closing the pack with a twisted, raw energy version. 

A huge thank you to everyone who took part—this release is a celebration of the community we’ve built together over the last 15 years.
