Jacid Jam from SQL & low& with Out of Sorts remix. In a serendipitous turn of events, three DJs found themselves entwined in the vibrant tapestry of electronic music, culminating in a collaborative EP set to enrapture audiences worldwide. The trio, comprising Goetzlich(Switchbox), Pim(SQL), and (Marcelo)Dreamawaken, embarked on a musical odyssey that began over a decade ago in the heart of Cologne. Despite their initial connection in 2010, it wasn't until 2023 that destiny intervened once more, catalysing a reunion that would redefine their musical trajectory. Goetzlich and Pim found themselves sharing the stage at the esteemed Evolution Festival in southern Germany, igniting a dormant spark of collaboration. The seamless fusion of their sounds reignited their creative synergy, beckoning them towards a shared vision. Recognizing Marcelo's existing partnership with Goetzlich under the moniker "low&", Pim seamlessly joined the fold, adding depth and dimension to their collective endeavor. In this debut EP on Beat & Path, you can sense an unwavering connection formed over years of mutual appreciation and artistic journeying. The track titled "Jacid Jam" whisks you away to a distant planet nestled at the edge of the cosmos. A mesmerizing Moog ambiance envelops your thoughts, guiding them to distant realms. Handling remix duties, Out of Sorts infuse the groove with strength, layering vintage percussion reminiscent of Plastikman atop an entrancing, acidic bassline.
