PREMIERE: RQZ - DK Island [DCT002]

Every now and then, Gianluca Felline vanishes without a trace somewhere deep in the Swiss forests and mountains—the untouched wild Alps. No calls. No texts. Turns out, he’s been jamming with extraterrestrials again.

This LP is the result: spacey grooves, organic high-tech analogue instruments, and a sound that’s firm but never harsh. Close your eyes, let the sounds take over, and you’ll find yourself in a place where time doesn’t exist—where moving rhythmically to music comes naturally, guided by curious frequencies from beyond.

Joining him on this mission are fellow astronaut friends Fedo, Gals, and Gudj—a new member of the cabin crew (you’ll definitely hear from him again soon)—along with Ollie Ballyn, helping steer this spacecraft deeper into the endless journey within your mind.

About 5 years now, But I started DJing 8 years ago

-How and when did you first discover Dirtybird?

I always been playing house tunes but I discovered almost 3 years ago, When my buddy asked me to perform an event where I meet this cool guy Called Danny Kolk.  He started talking to me about the label and it's unique sounds.

-Which Dirtybird artist would you want to collaborate with the most?

I love all of them, But definitely I would love to collaborate with Walker & Royce.

-If your entire life was a movie, what title would best describe you?

The Pursuit of Happyness

-What’s the best concert you’ve ever been to?

Sunset music festival

-If you could time travel, where and when would you go?

Definitely to the 90’s when the underground house/ techno parties were so popular

-What species of bird best describes you and why?

Yucatán Jay (Mexican bird) because he’s adaptable to any circumstances

-What does Dirtybird mean to you?

A unique sound, an art. A culture, a lifestyle, and the most experimental sounds.

This sound creation from Soundwalk Collective takes us thousands of years into the future: a time where super intelligence and interstellar travel is the norm. One is invited to discover the Louvre Abu Dhabi and its surroundings to understand history, its impact and meaning in a post-human galaxy, while questioning free will, human nature and destiny.

Humans have a unique ability for abstract thinking paired with an affinity for the past, giving rise to museums that capture history and preserve it. We reflect as we look into the future: building on the work of our ancestors, where is our species headed? After all, lived reality is always a construction of the imagination.

Interpreted by Willem Dafoe, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Hussain Al Jassmi, Zhou Dongyu, Nina Kraviz, Wim Wenders & Jean Nouvel, the sound piece concludes with an M.I.T. algorithm defining the names of future exoplanets.
