While Hunter Siegel has carved out space in the scene with his releases since 2013, the recent shift for the Canadian artist that embraces darker techno soundscapes as HNTR has allowed him further explore his sonic reaches. The past few years have seen him release a flurry of tracks under the alias on his imprint, No Neon - and after gaining praise from deadmau5 in 2020 it was only a matter of time before he appeared on mau5trap.

That moment arrived back in May of this year when HNTR teamed up with Elliot Moss to release "Shadows in the Dark" on the renowned label. This melodic house and techno track quickly stole the hearts of those who listened and left them craving for more from the mind of this talented producer. Now, that time has come as he's returned to mau5trap for his latest track, "Searching for Self." This time around, HNTR has looked to Tribe Alexander to provide the hypnotizing vocals as he leads listeners on a journey into the techno realm with a touch of progressive influence along the way.

"My buddy Tribe sent me about 12 vocal demos, this was the second one I listened to and I was instantly hooked by the entrancing repetition of the vocal," HNTR said about the track. "It grabbed me and spoke to me instantly, I wanted to try to use that same feeling in the production to help amplify that feeling of searching for something."

Celebrating the release of "Searching for Self," HNTR spun up a mix to celebrate the beginning of the fall season and help usher in the cooler months. This hour and a half ride is filled with a plethora of his originals and curated selections from the likes of Charles D, Pryda, Avision, Maceo Plex, Victor Ruiz, and more to further emphasize the gray skies and rainy nights ahead.

He's had numerous releases on the renowned dubstep labels such as Never Say Die, NSD: Black Label, and of course, Disciple Round Table. The producer's noteworthy projects throughout his musical journey include Dead Space, Beast, and "93 Style" with Virus Syndicate.

One of the artists in the techno scene who has continued to push boundaries and explore new reaches is Declan James. Over the years he's crafted up tasty tunes that have graced labels like Enhanced, Armada, and OHM Music, and immersive sets at festivals like EDC Las Vegas for his fans to soak in. Even though the pandemic slowed his ascension to the top he's back and better than ever this year.

Not only did Declan James just drop "New Age Psychosis" on Space Yacht Records' The Black Hole Vol. 1 earlier this month, but he'll also be returning to the neonGARDEN stage at EDC Las Vegas as well. After a stunner of a set at the festival back in 2019, techno lovers flocking to Sin City won't want to miss his performance when he opens on Sunday to help usher in the final day of beats.

While we can only imagine the madness that will ensue, Declan James spun up a mix to give everyone a taste of what's in store and hype everyone up for the weekend ahead. This 30-minute ride is filled to the brim with relentless, hard-hitting techno tunes that will inject a dose of energy directly into your mind, body, and soul, so get prepped for some pure insanity from the mind of this rising star.

Canada is home to some of the most dynamic artists in the dance music scene, and Sabai proves that point further. Born in Thailand but now residing in Vancouver, he's carved out a niche for himself with a unique blend of influences that range from future bass and house to pop and R&B. This has led to a growing number of fans and tastemakers alike catching fire with Sabai, including renowned label Monstercat.

Since his debut on Monstercat in 2019 with a remix of Vicetone's "Feels Like," he's delivered a number of amazing tracks on the label. This includes his single "Million Days" with Hoang and Claire Ridgley and his debut EP Where It All Began in 2020, as well as stunners like "Me + You" with Rave New World and "Scared" with Claire Ridgley already this year. 

Now, he's returned to his home on Monstercat after taking the stage at Monstercat Compound earlier this season with a new single dubbed "Falling For You." This time around, Sabai looked to With Løve and Nevve to bring the track to life, and it's filled to the brim with beautiful chords and emotional tones that play perfectly with the vocals. "This song is about falling in love with someone again after you've been so broken," he said when asked about the meaning behind the track, and to celebrate the release, he's spun up a solid mix to get everyone in the mood for the fall!

Speaking about his approach to mixing, Sabai said, "I like mixing different genres of music in my sets because it keeps the energy interesting throughout. I like to start with house songs to get people in the mood, and later I'll throw in the future bass and dubstep songs!" That's just what he's done with this vibe-fueled ride that will spark a fire in your feet and keep you warm as the temperatures continue to dip.
