SATURDAY NIGHT CLOSING COACHELLA... Sometimes the energy of 10000 people can push you outside of your comfort zone. As I arrived at Coachella around 8 PM that Saturday I was told I was supposed to close the stage from 11:30 to 1 AM. the whole meaning of Surprise guest took a turn on me. YOU are it. SURPRISE MOTHER FUCKER! ha ha ha. Anyways, nonetheless, this was a special set. 16 Years of playing Coachella. my sweet 16. I'm all grown up now! lol. The energy of the crowd was crazy so I went with it. I hope you like it! and if you were there just go back to that night for a little bit with me!

While the scene in San Diego might be dominated by the sound of tech house lately, there are a number of artists who continue to break the mold to bring something fresh and exciting. One of those artists who is quickly making a name for herself is SORAYA, who first jumped behind the decks and the age of 17 and hasn't looked back since.

The past two years have seen SORAYA continue to grow as a DJ as she's taken over crowds at venues around San Diego such as Bang Bang, Firehouse, Spin Nightclub, and more, while also playing exclusive house parties in Palm Springs during Coachella. Bucking the trend of others in the scene, she uses a dynamic range of influences that stem from the experience she's gained working in different facets of the music industry since she was young.

Hot Since 82 Presents: Knee Deep In Sound with Kittin

It was such an honor and a privilege to be invited back to play this legendary venue in Berlin. Sisyphos was celebrating their anniversary with their 'Hippyphos' week-long celebration. I played on the Strand (beach) stage from 19:00-22:30, it was ripping with tons of beautiful people in the moment, and it was one of my favorite sets I've played this year. After not being in Berlin for over 3 years due to the pandemic this was an incredibly special experience for me and I'm so grateful to have returned for my 3rd time playing at one of my favorite venues in the world. 

Thank you to everyone that danced with me, celebrated this incredible space, and got lost in the music... and a big thank you to Sisyphos for welcoming back. I'll remember this experience forever. 

We had to cut off the recorder for the last 30 minutes of my set for the next act to get ready, but here's 3 hours of gritty, groovy, techno, techy goodness. I'm grateful to share this with you and I hope you enjoy the experience.

I'm excited to finally release my set from DH last year for ya'll.   This was easily one of my fave sets that I've ever played.  Sometimes the stars align and blissful magic comes right behind it, this was definitely one of those times.   The DH crew gave me the honor of following my brother Mikey Lion with my set time so I got stuck in immediately because I knew he was gonna slay.  What a show! We are all Desert Hearts! <3 ;)

Over the last year, I feel as if I've really stepped into my sound- I've drawn so much inspiration from artists across the globe such as Adam Ten, Elif, Sam Shure, and a lot of acts coming out of Tel Aviv. The indie dance genre is just emerging here in the States and I'm excited to help bring the sound to every audience that I have the opportunity to play for. My live set from DISTRIKT camp at Burning Man. This was one of the most monumental sets of my life playing in front of 3000 people in the middle of a dust storm. This was one of those days that set the bar for the rest of my DJ career.
