There's nothing better than a dose of good house music to help beat the winter blues and the sounds from Luke Andy are sure to warm you right up. This rising artist in the scene has already caused quite a stir over the past few years with his releases that have graced labels including Dirtybird, House Of Bangerz, Country Club Disco, and IN / ROTATION. But studio work isn't the only talent that Luke Andy has either, as he's impressed during his performances at festivals such as EDC Las Vegas and Dirtybird Campout, along with a plethora of club shows as well. 

This year saw Luke Andy continue to grow his career to even greater heights with releases such as "Show You" with Dipzy on Space Yacht's Tech My House Vol. 1, "Low Limbo" on Morelia & Friends II, and "BEKKI" with DKING as well. More recently, Luke Andy looked to Walker & Royce's imprint Rules Don't Apply for his latest heater of a tune, "Love Drug." This one is a perfect jam to play when starting your night as the throwback disco-infused tech house beat will get you dancing while the vocal plucks at your heartstrings.

Now, before the end of the year and the release of his upcoming tune "Cheeky Baby" on Desert Hearts Family & Friends Vol. 5 (due out on January 7), Luke Andy swung by to spin up a mix to get everyone grooving. This hour-long adventure into the depths of the house realm is sure to light a fire in your soul as it features a number of tunes from artists like Cour T., Opolopo, Hi-Cut, and more.

SinnerSaints might be a new name in the electronic music scene, but the man behind the music, Jay Patterson, is by no means fresh on the scene. Over the past decade, he's delivered a plethora of trance and progressive tunes under the Bedroom Logic alias that have graced labels such as Elliptical Sun, Alter Ego, and Emergent. Many found a refreshed sense of being in the wake of the pandemic last year, which led Patterson to begin creating music under the moniker such as "Savior" with Jeff Ozmits and "Wilderness" with Alfred Clayton.

Now, with winter upon us, SinnerSaints reflected on the season itself, saying that it's "a time for old habits to expire and new ones to grow. I’ve put some old habits of my own to bed recently. This season seems to have been especially hard on everyone." But much like many others, he's faced those difficulties head-on by diving deeper into music and production, as he continued to say "for as long as I can remember, music, above all else, has guided me in the most trying of times."

With that notion in mind and a new beginning for this Chicago-based artist under the SinnerSaints moniker, he's spun up a mix that's brimming with immersive tunes. In its hour-long runtime, you'll be treated to Anderholm's remix of Lane 8's "No Captain" and Simon Doty's cut of La Roux's "In For The Kill," along with a flurry of surprises and his own tunes as well.

As the dance music scene continues to navigate the roller coaster ride that the past two years have presented, fresh faces in the scene have helped keep minds steady and feet moving to the beat. This has held true in the realms of progressive house and trance with artists like JANPAUL helping lead the way into a new era of the scene. 

After dropping "Bulleit" and "To the Next" in 2020, JANPAUL came into his own with a number of releases that landed on labels like Elliptical Sun, Graydient, and Infrasonic. His tracks like "Heartbeat" and "Light It Up" energized the minds of his growing fanbase while "Hacienda" soothed their souls - and he even delivered his debut EP, Cove / Delta, which saw him team up with fellow rising artist Tydrous. These releases helped define his signature style and made it clear that he's an artist to pay close attention to in 2022.

Now, with the new year ahead of us all, JANPAUL has spun up a mix filled with some sensational tunes to help you shake off the winter blues and get back to grooving. Opening Set for Au5 and Chime at Substation - June 3, 2022

On Saturday, May 21st, 2022, I was incredibly honored to open and hand off the decks to none other than GIUSEPPE OTTAVIANI, world-renown Italian DJ and record producer, at ORA Nightclub, Seattle. Giuseppe, also known as GO, is an incredible creative and pioneering force in the Trance industry, and just like some of the other UBER talented producers like Paul van Dyk, frequently performs at the top clubs and massive festivals with his sequencers and synths and produces his Trance real-time in the DJ booth. Long-time veteran of Trance music, GO is also a member of the project, Pure NRG, with British producer Solarstone, and has a long list of club Trance mega-hits and anthems played around the globe by all the biggest names in the industry. Needless to say, it was an amazing rush to open for GO (for my 2nd time!!), and the club was jam-packed with Trance fans and amazing, positive Trance Family energy. I tried to play an uplifting, energetic set, and pulled in many of my go-to Trance & Progressive artists like Sunny Lax, Beatsole, Myon, John Grand, Zuubi, and an awesome Trancey collab between Mike Koglin & Genix, an unlikely pairing, but they made some magic happen!!. Originally, I intended to end my hour set off with two recent incredible remixes of classics, the amazing Rub!k remix of “Happiness Happening” by Lost Witness, brings back such a great memory from yesteryear, and the awesome Elevven remix of Sushi by 7 Skies, another massive flashback choon!! But as fate would have it, GO came out onto the DJ stage almost 15 minutes past Midnight so I was able to squeak in 3 additional tracks, hence the longer-than-1-hour time on the mix.
