HPNOTIC has been holding it down for the hardstyle scene in America. Over the year's she's played major events like Basscon Wasteland and Escape Psycho Circus and releasing tunes like "Move Your Body" with Kamikaze on Keeping The Rave Alive. America isn't the only place she's seen success as she's been all over the world bringing her hypnotizing sound to the biggest stages including Defqon. 1, Q-base, and Hard With Style. 

When asked about the Hard Dance scene in the US, HPNOTIC was very excited about its growth. She explained that audiences in the US are more open to hybrid styles of music and spoke on the collaborations that have ensued. "I see more and more artists from different genres collaborating with hard dance artists, as well as hard dance artists taking influences from other genres," HPNOTIC said. "I’m excited about this evolution! I think creativity comes from combining different things together. Diversity will continue to bring hard dance to the next level." 

On February 26, HPNOTIC is scheduled to take the stage at Basscon Wasteland - and to celebrate the return of the festival she stopped by to spin an exclusive mix for our Paradigm Shift series. Her mix gives fans a taste of her 'HPNOTIC' style and features plenty of homegrown talent including Lucky Rabbit, Lady Faith, Talon, RIZE, and a special unreleased treat as well.

"Hard dance music literally changed my life and it’s a huge part of my identity. There is a countless amount of influence it has on my life. My love and passion for hard dance music has pushed me to achieve unimaginable things such as moving to Amsterdam and Los Angeles, as well as connecting with thousands of people all around the world. I can’t imagine myself existing without it. With hard dance music, I feel like I can be myself, free from external pressure. I’ve been dedicated to my HPNOTIC project for over a decade now."

Paradigm Shift 002 || HPNOTIC [Road To Basscon Wasteland]

Since his first release in 2018, FADEAD has held it down for the hard dance scene in the Bay Area and beyond. While he specializes in powerful euphoric records like "Need You Here" and "Without Me," he can also throw down some heat in different styles. Over the past few years, he's had two dubstep/hardstyle hybrid collaborations with Stryer, showing his versatility and ability to adapt no matter the situation.

FADEAD kicked off 2022 in a big way as he was a part of the launch for NRG Records with "Into The Fire," which saw him utilizing the hard psy sound and creating a fine line between euphoric hardstyle and rawstyle. When asked about the hard dance scene in America, he felt that there's going to be a major breakthrough soon. "With the more exposure the EDM community gets from [hard dance], the more of a chance it has of becoming a bigger market compared to how it is at the moment," he said. "Deep down… everyone comes around sooner or later, and I am honored to be a part of its upbringing in America."

Looking to keep the momentum going, he stopped by to spin up a guest mix on our hard dance mix series, Paradigm Shift. Without spoiling too much, this mix includes four unreleased tunes, where three of them belong to FADEAD, along with a multitude of the latest and greatest hard dance tunes from Europe. The Bay Area producer also shows love to plenty of homegrown artists, so fans will hear tunes from KAMI, Quarkee, and TYEGUYS throughout its runtime.

FADEAD has earned himself a spot as one of the producers that are contributing to the recent growth of hard dance music and you're not going to want to miss him on his way to the top. With that being said, turn the volume up to 11 and crank on his latest mix to get a taste of one of the brightest young talents in the American Hard Dance scene.

I haven’t been this excited about a track in a long time.. it’s my first ever attempt at making hard techno/psytrance, now it’s being released on my dream label aswell as had support by some of the biggest artists in the game… crazy. 

It was also a very special moment meeting Rezz in person for the first time a few weeks ago at Shambhala - I’ve been a raver in the crowd for many many years watching her sets and now here we are today.
