EDM Masters was born out of an ever growing industry demand for premium quality audio mixing and mastering services at affordable competitive prices, run by a dedicated crew of accomplished producers and engineers with over 20 years experience.  All audio mastering equipment is not created equal.  We use a combination of what we perceive to be the best analog and digital equipment attainable, to ensure your master(s) or mix, in all formats, sounds the best it possibly can. While mixing and production ‘can’ be done in less than ideal environments, mastering must be performed in a specific environment. This includes at the very least, a full range monitoring system in an acoustically treated room.

We have several different price plans and levels of attention to choose from in order to provide you with the highest quality product possible at a price that is competitive and affordable whether you are an amateur or accomplished veteran professional.  

Mastering is the last, and frequently neglected stage of audio production.  It's the final step in the transition between the artist and distributor.
 
Often sound quality is compromised by the desire for loud, commercially competitive volume by the use of inferior low budget digital mastering services, software and preset hardware.  Recently a few software solutions have evolved that open up new possibilities in processing quality to the mastering process but we have deduced that, contrary to what many low-budget mastering services would have you believe, it is highly unlikely that they can compete with a real hardware solution of tubes, transistors and analog circuitry, not to mention the skills, knowledge and experience to use them properly.   We take into consideration that every track is unique and requires an individually specific level of attention.
 
Todays music, especially EDM, is often created entirely within the digital realm of a computer. This creates compromises within the audio itself.  Our mix of valve, solid-state analog and high end digital hardware has been carefully selected through years of experience and debate, to ensure that whether it’s a sophistacated  recorded score of classical symphony or the most digital of electronica, your music is being passed through the best circuitry money can buy, adding a refined distinct sound, new dimensions, stereo width and clear dynamics, not currently possible with software only mastering.
 
Over recent years a phenomenon known as ‘the loudness war’ has evolved, where dynamics and clarity are frequently sacrificed in favor of increased average loudness and perceived volume.  We have developed our own validated methods to produce the loudest sound possible with minimal artifacts such as distortion and weak dynamics.
