RCRDSHP is a startup combining music with the NFT space in an exciting way.

Their goal is to re-establish the value of music in a digital age where songs can be infinitely streamed, downloaded, and copied with little to no value.

At the moment, their platform is invite-only, but they plan to expand it so that producers and record labels are able to release their music on the platform and connect with fans.

In this interview, we talk about how they got started, where they’re at now and their plans for the future, along with the challenges that the NFT space has.

Who is Jaytech? It’s hard to know where to begin.

He started out as a classically trained pianist, entering and winning various competitions as a child before being introduced to the world of electronic music.

At age 16, he had his first vinyl release.

14 years later, he’s released 3 artist albums, toured the world, had releases on key labels, and worked with many different artists.

He’s one of my favorite producers, and due to that, this is one of my favorite episodes to date.

I've used acoustic textures to give a sense of familiarity & sincerity to my composition; lighters, exhalations, keys etc. - I'm trying to evoke a scene in your mind with the soundscape.
