Why does science say our universe is a flat plain when Einstein said space bends time? 

WHY THE CONTRADICTION EXISTS

1. Einstein’s Relativity: Space and Time Are Curved

Einstein’s general relativity says:

Mass and energy curve spacetime,
and that curvature tells matter how to move.

In this view:
	•	Light bends near stars
	•	Time slows in gravity wells

So by Einstein, the universe is inherently curved.

But contemporary cosmologists often say:

“Observations show the universe is flat.”

This flatness is determined by measuring the cosmic microwave background (CMB) and checking for geometric distortions.
