En esta tercera entrega de La Tierra Inquieta para Sonora Elástica nos encontramos con un espacio reconfortante que nos guía hacia una contemplación permanente. Una epifanía que  nos devela momentos nostálgicos y al mismo tiempo algunas escenas festivas. Sonoridades de distintas latitudes que nos transmiten visiones de lugares comunes y cotidianos.

Sobre las selecciones de la tierra inquieta:
La selección musical de LTI se basa en los conceptos de periferia y migración, esto entendido como el constante desplazamiento de los centros, como la fuerza centrífuga de estas músicas. La música no nace en un centro para luego distribuirse hacia las periferias, sino, siempre ha estado en constante desplazamiento: va, vuelve, transforma, es transformada. Si no hay un centro real o concreto, no puede haber un concepto de música universal, que es lo que trata de hacer la ‘world music’ con su construcción de lo foráneo, como todo lo que está fuera de su centro.

In this third installment of La Tierra Inquieta for Sonora Elástica we find a comforting space that guides us towards a permanent contemplation. An epiphany that reveals nostalgic moments and at the same time some festive scenes. Sonorities from different latitudes transmit us visions of common and everyday places.

About the selections of the restless land:
The musical selection of LTI is based on the concepts of periphery and migration, this understood as the constant displacement of centers, as the centrifugal force of these kinds of music. Music is not born in a center and then distributed towards the peripheries, but has always been in constant displacement: it goes, it returns, it transforms, it is transformed. If there is no real or concrete center, there cannot be a concept of universal music, which is what world music tries to do with its construction of the foreign, like everything that is outside its center.
