Sisko Electrofanatik returns to Phobiq with a thumping three-track techno EP.
Based in the Italian city of Rome, Sisko Electrofanatik is known for his releases on labels such as Codex, OFF Recordings, AnalyticTrail, Say What?, Fe Chrome, Autektone, and his own Gain Recordings.
After an impressive 2021 where he had numerous tracks charting inside Beatport’s top 10 best sellers, Sisko Electrofanatik has no plans of slowing down in 2022, and this is his first release of the new year.
Known for his trademark style that blends infectious synth hooks with driving percussion and intense atmosphere, his tracks are often supported by many of techno’s most prominent DJs such as icons like Carl Cox.
“Librae” opens the release with its ominous bassline and pounding kick drum that lay the foundation for the pulsating lead synth to drive the track with its modulating arpeggio. “Kobalt” is next on the EP, and its stripped style has industrial textures and a hypnotic vocal at the heart of its groove. “Dreamscape” closes out the release with its explosive percussion and swelling synth line that pulses with tension and tantalising suspense.

Two techno artists, Spartaque and Pablo Say deliver their collaborative release titled "I feel so free" to UNIONIIII. Spartaque and Pablo have been friends for a long time, and Pablo has been releasing tracks on Spartaque's label, Codex, for quite some time. When Pablo was in Barcelona, they came up with the idea of releasing a collaborative track on Spartaque's and Ramiro Lopez's label, UnionIII, which specializes in collaborations. Pablo sent his initial idea to Spartaque, who then worked his magic to fine-tune the track. The end result is a beautiful example of Spanish techno that's already receiving a lot of support from a large number of DJs. "I feel so free" is a perfect blend of Spartaque's signature sound and Pablo's unique style, and it's sure to be a hit with techno fans around the world.

Having thawed the winters chill with his Elements EP earlier this year, SCI+TEC regular Alex Mine returns to warm our bones with his Time Lapse EP, and fresh from being selected as one of the key artists to feature on the label’s 10 Years of SCI+TEC compilation, with his ’Name Of What’ track, the Italian promptly delivers a fresh and weighty new four track selection. 

The title track leads the EP with its huge kick, echoing vocal spikes and synth chords to create a tense but electrifying atmosphere. ‘Egoes’ follows, pushing the tempo with its tight groove and frenzied acid line to create a powerful dancefloor moment. 

From that piercing peak to the dreamy depths of ‘Forth Dimension’ and its delicate, inviting bassline and simple melody. A soothing slice and one that readies us for the rugged tribal stomp of the brilliant and elegantly twisted closer, ‘Krantor’.
