Olivia and Rachel are a classically trained oboe and piano duo, formed in 2016. Available for weddings, functions, recitals, corporate and private events, this exciting new duo can provide music to suit the occasion and add a touch of class to any event.

Keeping it UnStraight Since '78!

Hello! I make up songs and music spontaneously, on the spot, unprepared. 

Despite being continuously active in some diverse incarnation of rock music ever since 1978, what I thrive most upon is music and words from one's heart, instantly, undeadened and unrefined.  

That's it. 

Warts, parts, darts, dearly departs and all. I love melodicism and I love atonal surprises. 

I really long to surprise myself, which happens about once every four years. 

I have an exceptional(if dormant) band called Organelles, and will likely strive to upload some music by us, too. I am also one third of Three Cane Whale. www.threecanewhale.com

Finally: I currently compose and perform live music and poetry-settings for Scottish Dance Theatre's touring production of Fleur Darkin's "Innocence", inspired by the life and works of visionary poet and artist William Blake.

I was once in a gloriously failed psychedelic harmonising rock'n'roll band called "me" (yes, really - there were up to 6 of us on stage at one time, so it was not a solo project!). Me released two "underground masterpieces" of albums, as well as a hatful of financially-disastrous e.p.s (lps were less bankrupting); travelled a bit, shared a tiny Bristolian indie label with the legendary Moonflowers (see This is the Kit) and, posthumously, were cited by none other than Radiohead as a key creative influence on their musical origins...

I'll threaten to stick some old Me tracks up too, then.
