The first live recording from Wrong Side of the Tracks 2022 comes from our long time brothers and collaborators DJ BISH and Raze Soundsystem host MC Lukai. 

More than a decade of proving himself as one of Bristol’s most exciting DJs, Born On Road resident; Bish laid the foundations for himself to become a deserved front runner for the UK’s underground DnB scene.

Triple threat plays by Andy C to a sold-out Wembley, bagging Radio 1’s ‘rinse out track of the week’ alongside Mandidextrous with their collaborative dancefloor banger, ‘Techno On My Mind’, and a 6 week tour of New Zealand with BOR are all recent testaments as to why you should know the name. His steady climb to the limelight has humble origins. Starting off as a household favourite resident at nights such as Southwest’s famous Bristek & Rumble in the Jungle, he quickly began to hone in on a quintessentially Bristol
sound.

Just a little something I boshed up on a sunny Sunday afternoon considering the sun is now starting to make an appearance and festival season is just around the corner!

Feel Good Jungle / Drum & Bass Mashup - Crossy

Bristol artist Gray wraps off the festival season and kicks off club season with a brand new mix combining the most recent releases in Jungle and Drum & Bass with some of the heaviest and biggest old school riddims. Drawing for a slightly darker vibe in this mix, Gray draws for an abundance of dubplate flavour with many unreleased tracks from artists including DJ Hybrid, Gold Dubs, Kumo, Disrupta, Zoro and of course some of Gray's tracks himself.

Having produced since the age of 12 yet rarely releasing his vast collection of dubs, the mix comes ahead of Gray's release on Born on Road and other releases forthcoming on labels around the South West such as Ghetto Dub, Desolate and Gyro. Firing up the bassbins and hitting you hard with a dose of raggamuffin junglist energy is what Ed Solo is all about. From Glastonbury to Canada's Shambhala, from dirty Brixton back rooms to Spanish arenas, Ed has travelled the globe throwing down his unique brand of ruffneck bassline bravado for more than a decade. 

Ed's knack for the rudest of hooks is equalled only by his sublime studio skills. He cut his teeth in the mid '90s engineering at the notorious SOUR Records studios, going on to lay down a series of groundbreaking collaborations with jungle kingpin DJ Brockie. In 2007 Ed released ‘Random Acts of Kindness’ alongside Skool of Thought, featuring ‘When I Was A Yout’ and ‘We Play The Music’ among others. A 10th anniversary remix package drops in 2017.

Ed’s partnership with Jungle Cakes partner in crime Deekline has thrown up some of the most memorable tunes of the decade. The pair recently mixed the chart-topping 5th edition of their Welcome to the Jungle series.
