Multidisciplinary artist and queer agitator Valley Dolly is a long time friend and light designer to Bassiani as well as a member of the locally-based Hydrash collective. An eager student of the heady nights of New York underground culture, in their sound there’s an undeniable debt to the house music of that time and place, and the many constituent queer and trans faces that lit the way for so many who came after. By extension Valley Dolly, who also works under the alias Svecki*, uses their skills and context to probe contemporary inequalities, question gender paradigms and deliver a radical critique of the same in the form of perky and silver-toned beats. Their work also alludes to a wider palette of personal inspirations, everything from the quotidian rituals of Tbilisi life to video games and horror films. All of it comes together in a bespoke and brightly coloured house sound that radiates joy and positivity. Savvy rhythms that bounce along at steady pace, melodies that seduce and blaze a trail from start to closing track with one simple goal set in their sights, sharing that feeling of love and inclusivity. Bassiani Podcast 228 kicks off the heavy burden of patriarchal culture with a wink and a smile and sets its ablaze with equal zeal, an hour of breezy tunes from a cherished member of the Georgian scene, and here's hoping there’ll be many more to come.

DJ Roads (Žilvinas Roads) is a legendary Lithuanian DJ whose vinyl sets raised generations of Kaunas dancers. Starting as Roadskilla with the KUB Collective, he made his mark on the drum and bass scene, later hosting Night Birds on ZIP FM and shaping the energy of Lizdas as part of a renowned Kaunas DJ duo.

Today, Roads is a versatile selector blending house, techno and rhythms with rare crowd sensitivity, most often on vinyl. He is part of the VHS Library duo and event series, co-founder of Prisukamas Abrikosas, a driving force behind the Audra Festival (Kaunas, September 18–21), and co-runs Auditorija club in the former Lizdas space at Žilinskas Gallery.

The residents dedicated this set to their long-standing love for the Detroit sound that bridges techno and house; it runs for a symbolic 313 minutes.

Before the Curfew is a series of music podcasts that emerged in 2022 after the reopening of the club following the liberation of the Kyiv region. All recordings presented in this series take place before midnight before the curfew begins. Before the Curfew offers a vibrant snapshot of the Ukrainian music scene amidst challenging times, celebrating resilience, creativity, and unity through music.

For our next Techno Minded Hero, we have one born in Romania, but currently based in Italy.

This talented producer first had releases on Nulabel, Deadcert, Plunk Recordings, and more recent and forthcoming releases on Decoy,7teen Recordings, Concepto Hipnotic, Electrax, DMT recordings, Toxic Recordings, Berlin Underground.

Besides all of this, at this moment he has found a home at Wall Music. Where beloved guest at walls-events and at the moment working on bringing to life a sublabel of Wall Music, a new platform on which to showcase his own interpretation of the techno. So be on the look-out for that.

2017 will bring plenty of new material and collaborations with Mike Wall, MZR, Samuel L.Session and long time friends Vidrik and Eduard Szilagyi (Aka Yute).

For the Drone Podcast, he granted us a hybrid live/set, mainly with his own work completed with a few tracks by Wall Music Artists and Close friends. With most being an exclusive premiere.
