Demuel Tanco AKA DJ Tanco was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico is. Presently resides in New York City and has been a Disc Jockey since the age of 13 as well as Breakdancing with The Olympic Rockers which actually led to his intense & powerful music career. The talented DJ Tanco has spun music in many of the city's famous Prestigous night clubs such as the The Original Infamous Up & Down, Limelight NYC, Roxy NYC, Palladium NYC, Webster Hall NYC, Jimmy's Bronx Cafe NYC, The Tunnel NYC, Hathfields Qns NY, Club Heaven NYC, Club Deep NYC, China Club's Jade Terrace NYC, The Legendary Stonewall NYC, Club Cheetah NYC, The Octagon NYC, Club Crystals Qns NY, Club Liquid Qns NY, Club Kokonuts Bx NY, Beach Bum San Juan Puerto Rico, Club Firestone Orlando Florida, Mi Gente Cafe Bx NY, Manny's Lounge Bx NY, RF Lounge NY NY,Club X Bx NY, The Riddlers Bx NY and many other establishments. He's also played for military bases on the West Coast when he was in the service as a U.S. Marine. In New York City he presently has residency at Cherrys On The Bay in Fire Island, Bar 116, Mi Gente Cafe, Manny's Lounge and Club Remix formerly known as The Legendary B52s. He specializes in music categories such as Salsa, Merengue, Classic Dance Music, Mainstream Dance, and Underground House, though his main forte is Tribal House & Progressive House. He's very capable of adapting to anything that's taking place on the dance floor. 

DJ Tanco's main objective is to make sure he is running 99% to 100% song requests for his patrons which is very important in today’s competitive Disc Jockey market. DJ Tanco also has the ability to send massive intoxicating energy into the dance floor on any type scale crowd he is challenged with, whether it be Gay, Lesbian, Straight or the Corporate Private Party sector, the explosive electrifying energy is always present.
