Sketches Of Winter - Part 3 - Christmas Live- Dec 1980

This is an original composition, my first for 2022. I used MOTU's DP11 to sequence/record the music, coupled with VSL's VePro7 which housed all "virtual instruments" (VIs).

This is my first original instrumental composition for 2023. It's titled "Vary and Repeat".

Vary And Repeat

This is an original instrumental composition, finished 2/28/2023. Coupled with VSL's VePro 7, MOTU's Digital Performer 11 was used to sequence this piece. Various instrumental libraries were use for the "virtual instruments" (VIs).

A Child's Dream

This instrumental composition uses a number of different "virtual instruments". DP11 was used for the sequencing. The composition, itself, is what it is. However, I'm always willing to improve the the overall sounds. So, please feel free to leave a comment regarding how to better the mix.
This composition is dedicated to my work-colleague, Pamela Harmon, RN, who recently retired.

Bending Inwards

This is an older instrumental piece that I composed about 15 years ago. My goal was to use a few different and well-known cliched melodic structures and chord progressions while modulating into different "tonal centers", all while avoiding going to the "home" chord for a long as possible. It was an exercise in composition that I put on myself. It's a fun piece and I hope that you enjoy the listen!

Anticipation

I'm happily married for many, many years with no kids, and one dog. I'm a full-time ICU/CCU nurse. Been a nurse for many, many years. I'm also a composer & musician. Musically, I've done the following: been a keyboardist in lounge bands (on cruise ships), played keyboard and musically directed musical comedies, produced musical comedies specifically for healthcare professionals as co-owner of Too Live Nurse,  directed and continued to direct a small church choir, and composed music for church, nursing, family and friends. In 1997, I composed music for the world's first ("Broadway style") musical-comedy about nursing titled "Who's Got the Keys?" which was a big deal back then, I'm proud to say!  I love my wife, I love my nursing and I love my music. Life is good.
