What they find instead is something far older and more sinister—an unseen force tethered to the land, festering in the silence, unraveling their sanity one thread at a time.

As unease gives way to full-blown horror, they are pulled into a waking nightmare where perception fractures, trust dissolves, and reality becomes twisted beyond recognition. At the center of it all is a malevolent entity—Mister Stichs—a presence that doesn’t merely haunt but hunts.

This cinematic concept album is a dark ambient descent into psychological terror, merging vintage synth horror with modern sound design. Drawing influence from John Carpenter, Tangerine Dream, and the haunting landscapes of classic suspense scores, Mister Stichs delivers an unsettling, immersive experience built on analog textures, spectral atmospheres, and emotionally resonant melodies.

With chilling ambience, bursts of dread, and fleeting glimpses of fragile beauty, Mister Stichs is not just a soundtrack—it’s a sonic horror story.

There's an edge to the world right now and our original "Can't Catch A Break" captures a bit of the uncertainty, the tension and the mood.  Joined here by Sam Mendez on both alto and tenor saxes, Daniele Turani on lead guitar, Les Thomas on rhythm guitar and Ed van den Brekel on electric trumpet. I've launched this account (and my YouTube channel http://www.youtube.com/user/edwardcortesmusic ) to spread some of the music I've composed, so all the music that I upload to this page is original and I am the "guilty" of it. 
I've composed in different genres, starting with classical music and also pop, rock, jazz, electronic, electro-acoustic, etc. Sorry if some of my tracks are long for these days ears, I begg you to try to be patient.
