En Madrid, una ciudad con una extensa cultura del techno pero donde las v i s i o n e s f e m e n i n a s d e l g é n e r o escasean, Parallax es un antídoto. 
M i e m b r o a c t i v o d e l c o l e c t i v o multidisciplinar Geométrika FM, donde se predica y procura la variedad de los r i t m o s e l e c t r ó n i c o s y e l p o d e r movilizador de la música de baile, Tamara ha sabido añadir a sus sets la frescura de las nuevas vertebraciones del techno. 

Como muchos de los que han crecido en la capital, Tamara se enamoró de la música escuchando rap, electroclash, IDM o electro, así como del poder de cambio social que la música de baile puede generar en el entorno. De ahí su afiliación con Geométrika FM - cuyo lema es “Techno To Change The World”- o su colaboración con otros colectivos municipales vinculados a la cultura de club como “El Despertar de una Ciudad”, evento vecinal que aúna música, arquitectura y otras disciplinas artísticas. 

Después de haber recorrido diversas cabinas madrileñas, en 2018 Parallax pisa una de las mecas del techno español, el festival Mugako (Vitoria- Gasteiz) acaparando la atención del público y comenzando así un recorrido que le llevan a visitar diferentes clubs y eventos como Tupper_ o Draft (Barcelona), Ágora Club (Valencia), Prisma (Sevilla), Jimmy Jazz (Vitoria) o Dantz Festival (San Sebastián), Bau (Gijón) o Mira Festival (Barcelona.

En 2018 se estrena en Geométrika FM editando junto a TR “Breakxit”, un EP con dos temas originales y cuatro remezclas, donde también en el mismo sello, se han publicado diversos remixes a otros artista

Continuing the series of reissues from the Tresor catalogue, Tresor Records announces an updated version of the classic Regis and Female long-player, Againstnature.

Originally released in the year 2000, the album represents a pivotal moment in the emergence of the “Birmingham Sound”; a stripped-back sub-genre of Techno, pioneered around this time in the English hub by artists such as Regis, Female, and Surgeon. 
Influenced more by Industrial, Music Concrete, and EBM than from the melodic sounds of its Detroit predecessor, Regis later described the music as being made with a fractured pop sensibility which created a sound that may be faceless but by design loses none of the soul of its American counterpart.

Nowhere is this sonic changing of the guard more apparent than in opening track, Washing My Hands, which sets the stage with a vignette of field recordings: arc welders, water boilers and other sounds reminiscent of industrial workshops reframe your senses, placing your mind into a familiar yet unsettling dreamlike space. From this soundscape emerges a high-pitched, vitreous noise heralding the jarring introduction of Let Them Bleed, the first of several trance-inducing tracks on the album such as Join Us In Paradise, and Guiltless, which layer percussive and sampled loops creating what Peter Sutton (aka Female) described as exotic hypnotics.

This remastered edition of Againstnature also features the additional track, Theme From Streetwalker, previously only available on Volume 6 of the Tresor Compilation series. Collected together the album is a key work in the progression of this sub-genre to the dominant form of Techno heard in clubs in Berlin and around the world today.

This album unfolds as a sonic journey that blends electronic landscapes with experimental and atmospheric nuances, offering an immersive experience that moves between contemplation and rhythmic energy. Each track functions as an independent chapter, yet together they build a coherent narrative that reflects an emotional passage: from dawn to night, from stillness to expansion, from the intimate to the expansive.

The opening piece, **“Solitary Sequence,”** opens the door to an introspective world. Its minimalist and repetitive structure conveys the sensation of a pattern unfolding slowly, like a thought repeating in the mind until it becomes a landscape. It is a track that invites solitary reflection, where time seems to stretch and the sonic texture becomes almost tangible.

In contrast, **“Twilight Mosaic”** proposes a tapestry of richer and more colorful sounds, evoking the hues of twilight. The melodic layers overlap like pieces of a mosaic that shimmer differently depending on perspective. There is a play of light and shadow that adds dynamism while maintaining a meditative air.

With **“Winding Harmony,”** the album flows toward a more organic exploration. Its progressions recall winding paths that are never linear, generating a sense of continuous, shifting movement. The harmony twists and unfolds in new directions, reinforcing the idea of a journey in constant evolution.

**“Resonant Dawn”** offers a luminous respite, as if the listener awakens to a newly lit horizon. The resonance of the title is reflected in the spaciousness of the sound, which seems to vibrate in an open, hopeful space. It is a piece that balances delicacy with expansion, transmitting renewal and clarity.

Finally, **“Rising Syncopation”** introduces a stronger and more rhythmic pulse, closing the album with energy and vitality. The syncopation creates a constant tension that pushes forward, like a heart beating powerfully after an emotional journey. This piece elevates the ending, offering a vibrant and dynamic conclusion.

Taken as a whole, the album is an exploration of moods and soundscapes that shift between the intimate and the expansive. It flows seamlessly between meditative calm and rhythmic drive, constructing a narrative arc that reflects both introspection and vital impulse. Its richness lies in the ability of each track to stand on its own while simultaneously contributing to a greater story. In essence, it is a work that invites both attentive listening and full sensory immersion.

Maxwell Church’s “Wipers On” is treading the line between dance floor effect and emotive expressive sounds. In his own words: “The rhythm propels the machine while the textures and tones build the vast expanse in which the machine explores new territory”. Moy Santana’s superb electro remix gives the EP an extra punch. A record suited well for both driving in the night rain or dancing until the sunrise.

This week we present https://soundcloud.com/glsky , who amazed us with his experimental sound, full of crisp vibrations and thunderbolts of broken beats. 
He is living in Berlin and he is part of the collective https://soundcloud.com/bipolarberlin . in our interview he confided that  “ Bipølar  encourages me to find my own path through music. Furthermore I work together with the guys from Transmission operating in the field of Electro and Experimental music. From both I drew a lot of inspiration”. 
As an artist he stands out due to his wide-ranging musical passion, ranging all the way from south american folk music to Old School Dubstep.
