The British producer Ital Tek gives a rhythmic turn to Indian Wells' lush and hazy track appearing on his last Pause LP. Closer to his contemplative and melodic-driven efforts, his remix fits perfectly with the Italian producer spirit, adding the typical deep sub-bass he developed and might characterized his sonic identity.

We believe that « everything is a remix »

Remixes are a major part of the electronic music history. The club culture take off on remixes, some of the greatest dance hits where made from remixing original tracks.
Our primary purpose is to highlight this exercise by offering the opportunity to artists to either work on a remix of their choice or offer a track to be remixed by an artist they admire. It is overseen and curated by independent music lovers and supported by The Absolut Company, a brand that is permanently involved in the field of contemporary arts and creation with a tradition of supporting artists such as Keith Haring and Andy Warhol. The Absolut Remix project is dedicated to the art of combining or editing existing materials, to produce something new.

As a start, every last Friday of the month, we will unveil a new remix, from a newcomer or a legend, from disco to techno or IDM and house music. And more to come...

electrocaïne’s X-Series focuses on hip-hop and beats while staying true to the label’s colour. We’ve reached out to two Chicago artists. @Lapgan who’s a beatmaker and @megiapa who’s a producer and melodist. This single announces Lapgan x megiapa’s upcoming EP.

Liminal State of Mind reflects the uncertain nature of the current moment in history. We are facing constant dualities; the duality of hope and hopelessness, conviction and doubt, involvement and isolation, revolution and regression. This track evokes the feeling of existing between spheres and eventually finding peace amidst it all. We've invited Casablanca's beat-maker, @Saib_eats, for his interpretation on this piece.
