Based in Buenos Aires, Cimarrón is a producer and sound artist who creates hyper-contemporary, genre-fluid compositions that blur the boundaries between experimental club music and Latin rhythms.

"Sin Cara, Sin Nombre" is his personal and emotive debut EP that narrates a liberating process of profound inner change. Its heartbreaking synthesised melodies generate an introspective, epic yet euphoric club-focused atmosphere, in which sentimental and intimate exploration coexists with harsh sounds and disruptive Latin beats. Resulting in an aural symbiosis of strength and vulnerability.

The 23rd release of katharsis is the collaborative album “Brutal Nature” by label founder jjjacob and various other artists. The idea of the project, which has been in progress for several years, was to extend the artistry to a more conversational form than the classic introverted style of the electronic music composer. The album shaped itself through several exchanges of ideas and stems between jjjacob and the numerous artists of the project.

The final product of the collaborations has a common theme of finding solace in the darkness and brutality of nature. This could be exemplified by the deep melancholy infused with an inner peace of losing a loved one in the mourning song “Threnody” with Hajj, or in the overcoming and healing of both internal and external wounds by the catharsis of music and art on the eloquent track “Trauma” with Bungalovv and Odete. As an introduction to the album, jjjacob and the local Beham created an auditory interpretation of self-blame with movie samples and abrasive low-end explosions, and to conclude it jjjacob and Slikback created the bass-heavy club lullaby “Bonum Nocte”.

The album follows jjjacob's previous two EPs on katharsis from last year, “Journey Before Destination” and “Internal Presence”, but it is his first full-length album since “Body Without Organs” released on the Spanish label Sweat Taste in 2020. The album artwork is a collabora

This month we are honored to guest the Turin based artistic collective SPIME.IM for the second hour of the show. Those past years they managed to carved out a singular place in contemporary experimental music, installations and Audio/visual performances - exploring the aesthetics of digital reality through transmedia music projects. They blend cutting-edge technology, 3D art, and electronic music to craft immersive audiovisual experiences that challenge our understanding of identity and corporeality. Their recent collaboration with acclaimed pianist and composer Lubomyr Melnyk and cellist Julia Kent on «The End Of The World» garnered critical acclaim, including a notable performance at the Barbican Centre in London. Additionally, they are set to perform at the renowned Mutek festival in Montreal this August, further solidifying their position in the forefront of the art and experimental music scene. We can’t recommend enough to listen to their "Grey Line » Album out on -OUS Records and the striking visual work created for their track « Hint », in collaboration with Riccardo "Akasha" Franco-Loiri amongst other stunning works . <3 First hour duty is ours, from noise and acoustic music to high end club bangers and contemporary Rap/RnB music. For the second hour of the show, SPIME.IM will blast a fair amount of underground and contemporary experimental sounds covering a wide spectrum of sounds, creating a unique, elegant and personal soundscape. Birthed out of ancient inspiration, ‘eleu’ a mythical sorceress of play intertwines soft and sultry melodies with a sharp and futuristic sound. eleu is boundless, effortlessly flowing within and throughout an abundance of sonic styles and forms, comfortably letting her heart guide the way.

Her point of arrival at spring equinox marks the time of rebirth and change thus beginning the act of metamorphosis. ‘SOFT CUTE HARD’ is the accumulation of eleu’s first expressions as an artist/singer/songwriter/producer. Unified by an aesthetic idea each song stands on its own.
The sound of the EP intertwines the opposites, the soft and the hard, in a unifying entity, bringing listeners together in the one, where they revel in the space of eternity.

eleu is an essential part of the collective ‘LOFS’ alongside Number One, Oshi Moon, Jamie Genome and Adam Barnes. LOFS is a crew of multimedia artists, producers, djs and party runners (2crendsdeep), using the label imprint as a further extension of their creative output, a solace and a home for sharing their music taste to the world. SOFT CUTE HARD is a record entirely produced by eleu, Number One and Oshi Moon.
