This Digital Diamonds episode presents an exclusive set from PASCAL RUDERT. Pascal Rudert belongs to the young generation of DJs that like to listen sharply. He chooses only the best of the musical Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow for his sets. He certainly does not let others put him in a costume of a genre because of the fascinating productions that happen in between Techno and House so that it leads him to a broader view on music. With only 14 years of age he was drawn behind his turntables. Since then vinyl mixing is part of his technical and emotional self-image without excluding digital tracks if they happen to fit his story. As a resident of the club Trafo Subculture and co-founder of “Insel der Visionen” with his chosen home in Dresden, he found his port as well as a crew with whom he can present himself. In the fast-paced world of any he takes a step back and creates something special with his music – less false lifestyle, more craftmanship – less performance stripped of its sense, more concentration. And that is what he transfers onto the circle of dancers that listens to him.

Basilisk is a veteran multi-genre DJ, co-founder of the influential psychedelic techno label Techgnosis Records (@techgnosis-records), and founder of the iconic @Ektoplazm music portal and label group. Originally hailing from Toronto, Canada, he is now based in Taipei, Taiwan, where he remains dedicated to breaking boundaries through mixcraft and the art of DJing.

Appearing now on Subtrail's Trail Cast, Basilisk presents a broad definition of "psychedelic techno", sourcing material from across the spectrum from minimal and dub techno to dark and progressive psytrance, with tasteful references to tech house and classic trance. Smooth harmonic mixing, subtle tension building, and a spiral motion through different moods ensures this will be a true journey into sound. Este viaje que nace de mi búsqueda entre ciencia y música una vez mas, donde las frecuencias y el groove se convierten en puentes de resonancia. Todo el tema está afinado en 432 Hz, porque para mí la música no es solo sonido: es vibración, memoria y conexión.
Deep house con alma, con ese toque oscuro y cálido que siempre busco, pero tejido en torno a la proporción Phi, las cuerdas invisibles que sostienen el universo y que tantas veces he explorado. Es parte de mi camino, de mi investigación y de lo que soy. Espero que lo sientas tanto como yo al hacerlo.

EEGOR
Richard Blacker aka EEGOR has held a passion for music since he was just 6 years old. From receiving classical training on the Violin, Viola, Guitar and Bass Guitar as well as studying music theory for 4 years in his primary school days, music has flowed through Richie’s mind, body and soul.
With more than two and a half decades experience as a DJ and working on his own productions since 2007 with a string of releases worldwide, Eegor has established himself a solid reputation in Australia and abroad for his take on deep driving progressive techno. Whether it be day or night, at a Festival or in a Nightclub, Richie has always curated his DJ sets and productions to compliment the environment that surrounds him at the time.
Throughout his career Eegor has represented Open Records(Australia), Bus Records(France) and is currently a label DJ and producer for  Iboga Tech Records(Denmark).
Eegor has taken the stage numerous times at iconic Australian festivals such as Rainbow Serpent,Elements Festival,Dragon Dreaming and Earth Frequency as well as appearances abroad at Paradise Festival(Austria) and Megaclub appearances at the ‘Pratersauna’(Vienna, Austria), ‘Le Skandalo’(Bordeaux, France) and ‘Elevate’(India) just to name a few.
His current project ‘Eegor & Zark’ has scored some solid releases on IbogaTech, Digital Structures, Stone Seed (aka Bassic Records), Alpaka Muzic, and Anarkick Records thus far with many more big releases to come in the not too distant future...
