Esta canción está inspirada en María Fauro, la señora que limpiaba en la empresa  donde yo trabajaba y de la que tengo un entrañable recuerdo por su bondad y su coraje. Está dedicada a ella y, por extensión, a todas las mujeres de la limpieza, porque creo que no se valora su trabajo como se debería.

Hemos grabado dos versiones: en la de Carmen París se siente la fuerza y el coraje, mientras  que en la de Ana López Lorente destaca el cariño y la ternura. Y las dos están repletas de una entrega y sensibilidad que consiguen emocionar. Destacar, además, el piano de José Mª Berdejo, el chelo de Pablo Baleta, las guitarras de Nacho Abril y los “polvos mágicos” del ingeniero de sonido Juan Miguel Sánchez, del estudio de grabación Sin/Con Pasiones.

Shining is my reinterpretation of the wonderful song Nevermind by the talented French musician Louis Cyphere. It's also my foray into the musical genre of ska-punk, which blends punk rock and jazz brass (a very interesting style of music with two extremely unlikely components). And of course, many people will notice that the guitar riffs are clearly inspired by the exciting songs of Motorhead, with an obvious touch of rockabilly. 

Hopefully, having all these different ingredients in one song will make young musicians curious enough to look for these references. If that happens, I will consider my job done.

UNOWNED is a 6-track concept EP exploring the anatomy of isolation. Based on the philosophy that "man is a wolf to man," this record documents the process of cutting ties to survive.

It begins with aggression ("Static Skin"), sinks into depression ("Glass Lung"), freezes into indifference ("Cold Blood"), screams through the pain of separation ("Phantom Limb"), builds a fortress ("Iron Ribs"), and finally dissolves into a ghost ("One Way Mirror").
