With a mixture of dense industrial atmospheres, offbeat sounds and cinematic elements, driven by an energetic kick, the Warsaw-born artist has been a well known figure in the techno scene in Poland and abroad. This resulted in released on labels such as CRS, Newrhythmic and Secret Keywords. Apart from his musical career, he's co-founder of the Lost in Ether platform, including a podcast series that also inspires us and is definitely worth checking out. 

For this podcast, he showcased a more deeper side of his own musical spectrum, slowly putting you into trance for the next hour.

Originally from France, based in Berlin, Perfo launched his project last October (2020) with his first Ep on Madrid's Koryu Budo label. With a keen sense of commitment and a hard-working attitude stemming from his background in the world of sports, he is now solely dedicated to his musical passion. 

The French artist uses a in-depth knowledge of old school rhythms and merges them with an " avant-gardiste " and trippy style. His motto : Hold the tension, hold the dynamic.

What a treat... Token Records boss Kr!z delivers and impressive and captivating 62-track mix for this week's GVR episode.

Kr!z always had a strong sympathy for the more gloomy, dark, rawer sound of techno. Artists like Jeff Mills, Surgeon & James Ruskin had a major influence on him in the 90s. They helped to define his musical taste and develop his own identity in the Techno scene. Being a respected & established value in Belgium for a decade and a resident-DJ for Belgium’ s legendary techno night ‘Kozzmozz’, his DJ-schedule now takes him all over the world.

In 2007, Kr!z felt there was too much good music around from his favourite artists that didn’t get a proper release, so he started his own label ‘@tokenrecords’. He rapidly established the label as a fixed value in the Techno scene of today by bringing a timeless & powerful sound. In the years of its existence Token released tracks & remixes from Inigo Kennedy , Ø [Phase], Luke Slater , James Ruskin, Marcel Dettmann, Blawan, Surgeon, Ben Klock, Xhin, Sigha & Peter van Hoesen, amongst many others.

Tabula Rasa is an up and coming artist based in the south-western part of Germany. He recently moved to the US and is part of the infamous Infra Boston Collective. His Dj sets is influenced by his time german underground clubs and features high energy tracks with dirty bass line.

"I play music I like and see where it takes me. The best feeling is when you forget where you are while DJing and get totally lost in the music. Seeing people go crazy to my sound is one of the best feelings I've experienced in the last few years. DJing is such a creative process and I'm totally addicted to it. Eric Umble is a Brooklyn-based sound artist and DJ. An acclaimed classical musician, Eric's love of repetition and extended forms made his jump to DJing a natural step. Eric has performed as a DJ across the country including collaborations with SYITS’s Techno Cabin 6.0 and 7.0 (PA);  Detroit’s Deluxx Fluxx, Paxahau, and Litework collective; as a featured SAUCE artist at National Sawdust (NYC); the Crazed Behaviour Podcast (UK); and Alt Casts (NYC). Eric is co-founder and resident of FACETIME along with Rebecca Goldberg (Detroit Underground). FACETIME has presented techno-focused events in New York and Detroit since early 2019.

Jahveri is an up coming DJ/Producer from NYC whose sound focuses more on the rhythmic and hypnotic side of techno. Producing various genres since the age of 16, and also being part of a duo known as cmnd:Z with Foon, Jahveri has come a long way on his musical journey. He runs a podcast called Hypnotherapy which also highlights  the deliverance of his sound and show cases his style. He found his style in techno which ranges from dark, raw, rhythmic grooves to rolling Berlin bass lines to deep, emotional, melodic techno.
