I remember when the days were so simple 
Thought went to loafing.

in every movement, pigment spilled out the frame
a sort of vivid beauty that drew me to giving names

doctor-devil, 
momma-love
in terms of fam we saw 4 leave, but we didnt need a lotta luck

and times were tuff as the purse sank its teeth in
but momma never budged it was always fun on the weekends
havin catches with a cactus my sister was turning cystic
at my cousins where my dad is for every uncertain visit

stairs became the usual,
 friendship a folly
pale faces in a sport jacket, digits had fell upon me
every smack of dressed lips,
 the smell of a breathmint
green eyes with a red tint, 
where the fuck has my head been?

think I'm just a damn kid.. 
but i fraid to admit it.
 i got no pops and a strugglin mom so 
i gotta quit it
this the stuff that losing sleep over hardens me
and paves the way to a saving grace through writing this artistry

so pardon me.
