I'm not a very good producer so that's why I just try to make fun in the studio. It's not going to bring me any awards but it does result in cool stuff from time to time. 

For this track I wanted to make something hardcore!
But no 2019 style..... Oldschool....early rave, that's what I wanted!

I told myself I could only use original gabber samples. So all the bassdrums, percussion and synths are vintage hardcore sounds. 909 claps, infamous sounds and Neophyte Bassdrums. 

I really wanted to go back to basics. So I almost didn't use any effects and present day studio magic. I wanted to make this track just like it was created in a hardcore studio back in 1997. It was hard to keep things simple but I really wanted to stay true to the concept. 

For the release I wanted a typical 90's cover! I designed it myself including the Pat B smiley who turned into a gabber cyborg or something like that lol.

ef-core aka obituary h.c - middle finger

Obituary H.C., one of the most famous hardcore acts from the East Side was founded in 1993.
Starting with a good old Amiga 500 system a lot of tracks are comming out like 
the legendary "Out of control".
After several live acts the first release on "strike records" followed. 
A couple of releases later, even on vinyl and cd compilations, some tracks were signed internationally.
It was time to upgrade the equipment, to make it even bigger and with that the interest for other music styles increased.
Having done that, some experiments with different styles of music came up but a touch of hardcore was with them every time.
As DJ and MC they have turned many clubs into a slaughterhouse, nationaly as well as internationaly.
But now the time is right for new hardcore tracks.
