Liliya Ilieva is a Bulgarian jazz singer, composer and educator.
Lilly was only 3 years old, when she performed for the first time on the stage and never stopped ever since. Her childhood was filled with music and concerts, being part of a children group. She had the great opportunity to sing on one stage with many of the well known local Bulgarian musicians.
With time, the young singer decided that she wants to turn her hobby into a profession.
Her passion for Jazz music appeared in 2005 and in 2008 she won a 2­nd place at the "European Competition For Jazz Vocalists" that took place in Bulgaria. The same year Lilly was honoured with the "Special Award" of the famous Greek jazz singer Vicky Almazidu.
In 2009 Lilly Ilieva decided to move to the Netherlands, so she could dive deeper into Jazz Music.
Accepted in the "Prince Claus Conservatory", the young singer had the wonderful opportunity to gain experience by studying with musicians such as John Clayton, Jd Walter, Alex Sipiagin, David Berkman , Robin Eubanks, Ralph Peterson, Dena DeRose, Joris Teepe, Francien van Tuinen, Freddie Bryant, Gene Jackson,Kurt Weiss and Michael Moore among others.
While in there, vocal teaching and composition became her passion. Lilly formed her own jazz quartet, that performed her compositions and arrangements of jazz standards. After a while her roots drove her into a new direction with the folk/jazz project "Songs Of Aeon", where she is a co­leader. Bulgarian folklore melodies are the main source of inspiration and basis for the jazz oriented arrangements. The singer was asked to join two Big Band formations, which realised concerts in Germany. Other than that she performed regularly in the Netherlands with her projects.
In 2012 she moved to Barcelona, Spain where she explored the local jazz scene.
She gathered a small group of singers and called it "Acapella". Once again the folk influence came along and the singer found herself composing a choir pieces with folk/jazz direction and arranging Bulgarian folklore melodies to be sang Acapella.
After she finalised her studies in the Netherlands in 2013, Lilly is keeping herself busy ­ working on her new projects, which involves both ­ Bulgarian and foreign musicians.

The EF Orchestra is an international eleven-piece jazz ensemble based in 
Groningen, the Netherlands, the creation of which was inspired by the 
legendary Woody Shaw album "Rosewood" (1977). The title track of Rosewood 
features a large ensemble of 12 musicians from which the EFO is lacking only 
one - the percussion player. The composition carried the deeper meaning of 
honoring Woody Shaw's parents. As a sign of respect and to develop and keep 
both - the spiritual and the musical tradition that the great trumpeter left, the EFO 
focuses on performing original music and arrangements of Woody Shaw. 
Consisting of fine classical and jazz musicians and being a large ensemble but still not
a big band, the EFO has the unique quality of combining the beautiful textures, provided
by the variety of instruments, and  keeping the individual voice of each of its members.

Žiga's music is a celebration of existence.  His curiosity and fascination with the unknown compelled him to experiment with a vast variety of art forms, ranging from classical music to jazz, electronic beats and soul music. He encourages us to immerse ourselves into feelings and sensations that cannot be formed into words, to go deeper into realising our full potential and go beyond words to experience what we feel.

Diwanimi cherche en permanence à forger une écriture improvisée. Cette quête paradoxale, qui se révèle une
source intarissable d’images poétiques, est une errance volontaire à traver les mélodies traditionnelles centenaires,
les compositions et l’improvisation débridée issue de l’esprit du jazz.
C’est un paradoxe qui permet de tisser une nouvelle géographie musicale susceptible d’accueillir les singularités
des différents musiciens de Diwanimi.
Cette liberté potentielle proposée dans chaque structure fera qu’on ne « sort pas indemne » après chaque pièce
et qu’on ne « traverse pas la rivière deux fois ». Diwanimi fait sentir le « Maqam oriental » mais il le mêle à une
dissonance totalement différente, à un détour totalement libre. Ainsi, le Maquam se trouve porté dans d’autres
territoires. Diwanimi est un permis de (dé)construire et d’expérimenter en toute liberté.
