Fort Wilson Riot is a Minneapolis indie rock band that fuses genres such as electro-synth-pop, R&B, shoegaze, psychedelic-rock and crooning balladry. This array of styles is tightly stitched together by the distinct voices of songwriters Amy Hager (vocals/keys/trumpet/guitar), and Jacob Mullis (vocals/guitar/keys). The couples irresistibly catchy melodies sit nestled within a beautiful wall of sound generated by Ryan Mach (drums/samples), Jenny Hansen (bass/vocals), Aaron Baum (guitar/keys), and Peter Lavoie (saxophone). This is the story of two musical nomads, wanderers and gatherers of barefooted melodies, legends and traditions.

In these frantic and fast living times, the project No’Mads has emerged as a form of escapism centered around the sheer joy of forgotten rhythms and melodies.

The classically trained duo combines european folklore and medieval heritage with  their own modern influence  in order to create a colourful and exotic musical journey for the audience,  from long haired estonian virgin witches to 18th Century romanian blue hearted ballads and cheerful irish jigs.

Eclectic, melancholic, pagan and raw the music of No’Mads is an invitation to enchantment and mysticism.

My name is Jeremy and I write music as Buhu. Sometimes I perform with my wife, Tiffany. Writing music has become a ritual I use to analyze my existence and better myself. I am consistently concerned with opening up my life and exploring the depths (and shallows) of my being. Music has provided me a needed outlet to be vulnerable about my faults, dreams and feelings. I am thankful for finding my voice. I am thankful for my passion in creating and I am thankful for my openness to evolution of process. Through it, I have found my providence. The resulting compositions of which celebrate my loves, losses, excavations and observations of the natural. I don’t expect my songs to have popular effect or to be celebrated, but I release them to all who will listen, and I am profoundly moved by anyone who finds value in my music. 
 
I will be releasing the Providence EP winter 2020.
