Die Bungle Brothers sind auf Zeitreise back to the 90s. Als Hiphop noch weniger mit Steroid-Muskeln, Pandamasken, Youtube-Promo und grenzdebilem Machogehabe zu tun hatte und es eher um Storytelling, einen offenen Mindstate und generell den Spass an der Sache ging. Schon der Name „Bungle Brothers“ ist ein liebevolles kleines Tribut an die Native Tongue Soundrevolutionäre aus den frühen 90ern. Vor allem das Geschichtenerzählen hat es den Stümperbrüdern angetan. Schräge Kurzgeschichten über gespenstische Hotelnächte, Irrenhaus-Ausbrüche oder Mitternachtssnacks aus Zombiesicht gehören bei den Jungs zum Standardprogramm. Untermalt wird das Ganze stilecht mit Soul-, Funk-, und Jazz-infiziertem Boombap-Sound und Live-Drums.
