Sorgenfreie Klänge # 7

This guest mix is by up-and-comers @beesmunt-soundsystem (pronounced as 'Basement Soundsystem'). The Amsterdam based duo have released four records over the last year, one of which featured none other than San Proper, who is also responsible for one of the first Ace & Tate guest mixes. 
These guys are steadily making a name for themselves – next to their productions they appear regularly on Red Light Radio, where they have their own show, and they've recently performed for Boiler Room in London, which they have described as "2016's most stressful 45 minutes."
This DJ duo shows their strength in selecting house tracks that come with an abundance of African influences, melody, synths, warmth and/or general good vibes. A great example of this is Chicco's 'I need some money', a slightly satirical track that features all of the above.
This mix was recorded live at the Golden Cock in Amsterdam.

Maharetta Records presents Italian-born label DJ KIMIK YIU.

Kimik Yiu otherwise known as Yuri Merenda was born In Pisa in 1989, and began his long journey Into electronic music with his love for Minimal Techno, this was where he originally honed his beatmatching skills on Vinyl.
Inevitably this led him to discover many other forms of electronic music, and of course, the world of Djing. Like many, after much research and different musical ventures, he finally found Psychedelic Trance. Never looking back and taking with him Inspiration from previous musical experiences. This diverse background then paved the way for his life and career as a Dj.
It’s Infectious groove, and undeniably addictive sound mesmerized Yuri, something he felt, had always been missing from other genre’s.

Shortly after his discovery, he Immediatly began organizing several small parties around the area of Turin, and In 2012 met Ale Nukleall, the label manager at Blacklight Records, where he stayed for 3 years.
A major turning point for Yuri’s career, This then gave him the opportunity to play at many International festivals, Including. Future Nature, Human Evolution and Own Spirit.

In 2015 he was picked up by Maharetta Records, a label founded In spain Co-run by Zac Lee and Juan Fontorira Moyer, where he continues to push and develop himself as an artist within their roster.

Im Jahre 1905 veröffentlichte Albert Einstein eine Theorie, die das bis dahin gültige Weltbild völlig auf den Kopf stellte. Er hatte entdeckt, dass die Zeit langsamer fließen und der Raum schrumpfen kann. Damit öffnete er uns das Tor in eine fremde, rätselhafte Welt. Jenseits unserer Wahrnehmung, scheinbar unerreichbar und doch zum greifen nah.

Unser Captain Illy Noize will euch diese Welt der verzerrten Wahrnehmung zeigen. Mit Lichtgeschwindigkeit, der einzigen Konstante im Weltraum, geht es durch die verwirrenden Theorien um Gravitation und Relativität. Dabei spielt die Anziehungskraft eine große Rolle. Albert Einstein hat probiert zu erklären, warum im Weltall sich Dinge aufeinander zu bewegen, obwohl dort doch Schwerelosigkeit herrscht. Wenn im All alles frei durch die Luft schwebt, wieso gibt es in diesem Chaos Regelmäßigkeiten. Dafür verantwortlich sind unglaubliche Dinge, die Einstein als „Krümmung der Raumzeit“ bezeichnet. 

Wir versuchen das Ganze mal am Set von Illy Noize zu veranschaulichen. Sein grandioses Set verzaubert uns und bekommt damit Gewicht in unserem Leben. Das verändert Raum und Zeit um uns herum. Die Zeit vergeht schneller und ist somit relativ und der Raum, in dem sich unsere Probleme befinden, schrumpft. Wir sind top gelaunt und laufen mit einem breiten Grinsen durch die Gegend. Das wiederum wirkt anziehend auf andere Lebewesen. Somit hat die Musik von Illy die Raumzeit gekrümmt und bewirkt, dass sich zwei Sachen anziehen.

Michael Dietze, der vielen unter dem namen„Ditte“ bekannt sein durfte, steht bereits seit 1991 an den Decks. Seit 1993 gab es erst unter dem Namen EASTSIDE, dann als PROTEX-ZERO und von 2004 – 2006 im Club Molen Dyk mehr als 50 eigene Events. Außerdem wurden in der AGRA Markkleeberg, dem Hellraiser Leipzig, in der Spinnereistraße, im YARD CLUB, im 10 KW und diversen anderen Locations unter anderem folgende DJs eingeladen: Tony Rohr & Dietrich Schönemann (USA), Takaaki Itoh (Mayday, Japan), Dj Animal (Brasilien), Alex Bau, Mate Galic, Wolle XDP, Roland Casper, Johannes Heil, Ziel 100...
2003 gewann er mit I.Cis zusammen das MDR Sputnik Turntable Days Battle. Von 49 DJs belegten die beiden völlig
verdient den 1.Platz mit Ihrem Mix auf 4 Plattenspielern. Es folgten eigene Radio Shows und kleine TV Beiträge auf
Leipzig Fernsehen. Ab 2010 nahm er sich eine Auszeit. Doch seit Beginn dieses Jahres ist er wieder mit seinen
treibenden Sets für euch am Start.

More than 15 years ago Michael Moser aka Dj Sinus got himself a pair of turntables, and started to collect music. Deep, percussive, duby, organic and experimental elements always impressed him a lot, no matter if its psy-trance, techno, progressive, ambient or breaks. As he loves the great variety of electronic music, and the huge diversification of mixing styles he never dedicated himself to only one genre, which is another main characteristic.
He tends to see electronic music as one amazing spectrum of different colours, and many of his sets begin with a certain shading and end with another one, without giving the audience a clue when the change actually happened.
Also in his paintings and installations, you can find traces of electronic music all the way, and on his website, you get a chance to look into his fantastic dystopia, dreamworlds, and psychedelic decoration.
