When Anjunabeats asks their followers to participate in a Fan Mix Competition covering the last 20 years, well that's what you do.  There's 11 tracks in this DJ Set covering many, many albums.  There are so many memorable tracks for me picking an hour's worth was a task in itself. Like many of their resident DJ's, 3 of the tracks were used by other Anjuna artists in their respective 20 Dj Set.  Many others (surprisingly)were not.  Since I met a large percentage of my friends at various Anjuna shows over the last 15+ years I thought I would share.  I hope you enjoy this one, I sure do!

Damion ‘Damo’ Houchen, aka Genix, presents new remixes of ‘Until I Find You’ (with JVMIE), lifted from his debut artist album ‘199X’.

‘199X’ is a departure from the sound that Damo is best known for. Through the late 2000s and 2010s, he caught the ear of Armin van Buuren and Paul van Dyk with his textured, melodic take on trance. He secured releases on both Armada and Vandit, before arriving on Anjunabeats in 2010.

This latest remix package contains two new Balearic edits from Damo, as well as a rework from Anjunabeats Rising graduates Alex Sonata & TheRio.

Alex Sonata & TheRio will be familiar to dance fans through their output on Enhanced and Armada Music. The duo have been collaborating since 2018, garnering praise from the likes of Gareth Emery, Cosmic Gate and Armin Van Buuren. After many collaborations, the Scottish/Italian pairing decided to make it official in 2020, and Alex Sonata & TheRio was born. 

Following appearances at the official Group Therapy 450 warm up and afterparties, Alex Sonata & TheRio will be joining Genix, Oliver Smith, Naz, Amy Wiles and Stephen Kirkwood at London’s Night Tales this February.
