Tampa based rapper who goes by Ganksta G. I been rapping for the majority of my life but didn’t start actually releasing music til around 2015. Started my first project with a friend and that project was called “Our Time Is Coming: We Here Now”. After that i worked on my solo project called “ Thoughts of Bein Single”. My early influences were Lil Wayne and other independent artists. I took a long break away from music to try to figure out if my life so to say. Now i have decided to return to music and just dropped a new single called “Here’s 40”.

Jaya Kosa is a Melodic Lyricist born in South West London. 

Jaya spent his formative years living in various parts of London before moving to the Southern coast of Brighton where he grew up before moving to Essex.

No stranger to music having spent many summer holidays in "2 DEEP" Recording Studio with "Tony Ra", "Charles Rockwell" and his Uncle "Ricky Sprakett AKA Ricman" Jaya spent many days among senior DJ's and local Artists in Brixton.

He was first handed the microphone at the age of 9. Having heard his rendition "Tony Ra Recording Producer and Studio owner advised him to keep writing, stick to it and finish his education.

Aged 13 Jaya became a member of the group "Sickness Legion" as a Grime MC where he played a large part of the mix CD released "Name Behind The Reputation".

Coming up to his 16th Birthday he decided to pursue music even further, he wanted to know the ins and outs of his passion and studied a degree in Music Business/Music Technology as his core subject.

" It's all well and good being able to sing or rap but I wanted to go that bit further and hone in on the music business so I could have in-depth creative knowledge of how the industry worked , I'm always looking to come up with fresh new sounds".

By the age of 18 Jaya had musically matured and finally decided to change his style to a more artistic sound with influences from Reggae, R'n'B, Hip-Hop, Dance and Pop with a smoother sleek style where he released "By My Side" (2007) and "Dance In The Club" (2010) which both had great coastal success.

Having spent time making music he has been featured on BBC & has collaborated with Taz known for producing Dizzee Rascals "Just A Rascal" and being UKs first rapper signed to Def Jam,

He has also participated in many writing sessions with the likes of Arrow Benjamin who had his debut single with Beyonce & Naughty Boy "Running" 2015

In just a few short years, Markel — comprised of Steve Kelley and Mark Whitehouse — have started to gain interest on the underground scene with their productions on a large number of respective labels such as Baile Musik, Little Helpers, Innocent Music, Deep Tech Records, Yoruba Grooves, Celestial Recordings, Whoyostro LTD and more recently Chronovision Ibiza with their remix of Onionz “Bitter Sweet” which was heavily supported by Carl Cox throughout the Summer of 2015.

Markel’s performing career has seen them play at numerous clubs across Europe in Italy, Barcelona and Pacha Ibiza.

Markel have also had a number of radio guest mixes, appearing on Greece’s largest Electronic Radio Show “Enter Radio 106.6” alongside Nicole Moudaber and Carl Cox.
