This hurled the Midlands producer into the top spot of the scene. Gracing labels like Rossi B & Luca (Ministry of Sound) label More 2 da Floor, Northern Line Records and Marcus Nasty’s We R Bass with the type of dancefloor pressure steeped in Northern, Niche-inspired bounce.

X5 Dubs propagate a new approach to House music, which makes his sets fresh, original and unforgettable. Blending heavy bass tracks with smooth vocals has been one of the secrets behind his success.  X5 Dubs has fast became one of the most booked djs smashing sets in the U.K and abroad and gracing the stage at many a festival.

Combining a sophisticated groove with an arcane core and manipulating sounds to the highest quality, Octane & DLR truly shook the drum & bass community in 2011, culminating appearances at Fabric in London, Star Warz in Belgium, to Outlook Festival in Croatia and a remarkable Australia / New Zealand tour. With an innate ability to apply an effortless funk to a purely technical undercurrent, 2011 saw them produce some of the dancefloor’s most unique creations, such as the callously percussive ‘Mainframe’ and the casually sinister ‘Red Mist’. The pair have consistently advanced their distinctive sound, to the escalating lure of listeners, labels and promoters worldwide. 

Their reputation for superb technical production led to the highly successful Drum & Bass Rollers sample pack for Loopmasters. Providing an array of bass textures and various drum hits and synths, this has enabled aspiring producers across the globe the chance to manipulate and adapt the much sought after Octane & DLR sound to their own specifications. In the coming months, they will also release 64 Patches for Native Instruments new FM8 project, offering an essential production tool to further inspire up and coming talent.

2012 is shaping up to be an astounding year for the duo and their demand has been met by endorsement from respected companies such as Magma DJ Bags, Serato, Tool Room Publishing and THTC. Forthcoming release material includes remix work for Horizons, including Amoss’ ceaseless roller ‘Footloose’, Gerra & Stone’s irrefutable ‘Dronehead’ for Alignment, alongside further releases on Ram Records and Symmetry. This is all preceded by their highly anticipated debut album, appearing on Dispatch Recordings in Early Summer. The project is set to be a true masterpiece of natural soundscapes, dark and twisting bass-forms and cinematic interludes, featuring collaborations with Break, Cern and EBK, With Outlook Festival confirmed and Album Tour information now being drafted up, Octane & DLR are set to take the scene by storm in 2012. 


James Joseph is a DJ whose name has bubbled up on the UK’s underground music scene in a relatively short space of time. With his productions already signed to many labels its fair to say this star is definitely in ascendance. 
James is renowned for his super energetic sets and his heavy, punching, subby tech tracks that have captured the imagination of ravers week in and out. With second to none performances at well established venues including Londons Ministry Of Sound, Great Suffolk Street Tunnels, Brick Lanes 93 Feet East & Ibiza/Mallorca Rocks Hotels,

In 1998, Joni Heikkilä aka Dj Destroy began his journey & love affair with drum & bass music listening to the beats and sounds that emanated from the UK underground scene around that time. Citing his addiction to the music as the classic Virus Ed Rush & Optical tech monster “Wormhole”, the early dark twisted sounds Virus & Renegade Hardware provided the soundtrack to his submersion into dnb music and culture.

Whilst being a knowledgeable connoisseur of drum and bass, with an appreciation of tunes from across the wider spectrum of the music, Destroy draws his dj set inspirations from his favorite artists which include the likes of Dieselboy, Andy C, Crissy Criss. His record bag on an average evening is filled with the latest, and some timeless classics from labels such as Virus, Ram, Vision, Critical, Blackout ..

His dj style leans towards the more upfront and techy/dancefloor selection of the dnb genre, with dynamic fast mixing, utilizing his 20+ years of technical experience on 4 decks with double drops and teasers.

Not content with just playing the music, Destroy has been actively spreading the vibe and promoting Drum and Bass in his city Lahti in Finland. Since 2008, hosting the very popular sessions RUMBLE!! he´s invited a wide variety of international guests & performers alongside well known national dj/producers whom he supports with equally as much vigor. Previous international guests have included OPTICAL (UK), DIESELBOY (USA), Dj AMC (UK), NYMFO (NL), EZ ROLLERS (UK), DOM&ROLAND (UK), PROLIX (UK), CHRIS SU (HU), FAR TOO LOUD (UK), RANDOM MOVEMENT (USA), GRIDLOK (USA) to name a few ..

Since 2014 Destroy has been smashing clubs all over europe, in countries such as Germany, Italy and Belgium, France and Denmark.

Full biography:
Originally hailing from Glastonbury, UK and nurtured on a strict diet of mixtapes, raving in fields and doodling in school books, producer, DJ and visual artist, Alex Eveson aka Dead Man's Chest, has been making his journey through the deeper spectrums of drum & bass / jungle since the mid 2000's.

After initially breaking into the scene as a designer (with artwork for labels such as Metalheadz/Exit Records), Eveson’s music soon became the centre of attention after Fabio debuted a selection of early productions on his BBC Radio 1 show in the summer of 2006. In the ensuing months, Eveson went from a little known name to one of the most featured Drum & Bass artists on UK airwaves, whilst his signature 'soulful and groove driven’ sound found it’s way into boxes of DJs from all corners of the scene, gaining support from Goldie, LTJ Bukem, Bryan Gee, Grooverider, Marky, Shy FX, dBridge, Calibre, Marcus Intalex, Doc Scott, Total Science & more...

The next few years saw Eveson stacking up releases across a selection of the scene's most prominent labels from original pioneers Good Looking Records, 31 Records and Creative Source to new school taste makers Horizons, Critical and Shogun Ltd. In 2012, Eveson released his debut LP 'The Last Summer Of Love' on V Records, a genre bending album of influence and exploration.

After a brief hiatus DJing in the French Alps, 2014 saw Eveson re-emerge as Dead Man's Chest (as a means to explore his original influence of early 90s rave tapes), producing a series of EPs for Ingredients Records that culminated in the 2016 release of the Trilogy Mixtape; a 90 minute collage of tripped out jungle revivalism. 

2017 marked the latest chapter in Eveson/DMC's career; a slew of chart dominating records leading to 'Best Breakthrough Producer' nominations at both DJ Mag's 'Best Of British' & the 'We Love Jungle' awards, and the launch of Western Lore; a record label which serves as both channel for Eveson's musical and visual ideas, and a space for emerging artists to truly explore their unique style and individuality.
