                                                                     Dutch melodic techno/electronica/funky underground dj/producer ZEV MARIA is based in big harbour city Rotterdam, Netherlands. He started listen to electronic, wave, ska, boogie, disco, experimental & black music by the age of fourteen digging in his parents vinyl and tape's collection!  His dj sets and own tracks are uplifting, funky, dark & sophisticated with influence of ambient, new wave, electronica,  80's electro, industrial, italodisco, krautrock, detroit, techno, minimal, funky techno, progressive and black house music !, In all these years playing next to dj's and producers like: Mochipet, Captain aheb, Dirk Diggler, Serge(Clone), Shaun Rudiman, Mr.Pauli, Sun ok papi, Adept, Dimitri, Marcello, Fred Ventura, David Vunk, Lenny Dee, Steve Green, Derrick May, Sander Kleinenberg, Kamiel & Frederik,  Steve Cop, Abraxis(Fierce ruling diva), Carlijn(Mazzo), Enz  enz. Zev was inspired from the start by Chris & Cosey, Throbbing Gristle, Jah Wobble, Bill Laswell, Holger Czukay, Can, Brian Eno, Steve Reich, Max Roach, Charlie Parker, James Brown & The JB's, Fred Ventura,  Dario Dell 'Aere, Snowy Red, The Orb, Klaus Schulze, D.A.F, Francois Kevorkian, Larry Levan, Dimitri(Roxy), Chris Fortier, Underground Resistance, Transmat,  Border Community, James Holden, Margot, Cassandra Complex & many other obscure underground music people!!
He played many big club nights and festivals in the dutch underground house scene like: Future(Basement), G.S.P,  On(Cocoon night)Offcorso,  Silly Symphonies,  Paradiso(smallroom) ,Cosmos Gouverment(Leiden), Waakzaamheid,  M.T.C, Lowlands(Bravo tent), Sound achitechture(Doornroosje), Nighttown, Club Worm(Nikola Tesla Bardancing resident d.j)aka Laylow, Warehouse, Grammar(Bootleg cafe), Einstein(Enschede), Upstream, Dansnacht(Rotterdamse schouwburg), Club Xienix & Rebel club(Gouda) and many,many small rooms!!!
