New Born Jelly I « Director's Cut review ».

A touch of nostalgia for this very first mix, which was a sort of passport 
of a change of direction and a return to sound after a long break.

At the time, I had just reconnected some equipment for the first time in quite a while. The Kaos pad, controller and cables were complete. My living room felt like a small studio in the Cévennes. A few days later, I started recording.
Not long ago, I found myself listening to part of New Born Jelly in Lyon, at a friend's house... I thought... a few corrections would be welcome...
Maybe re-record it with other means, today in Nice, but with a slightly different reinterpretation while keeping the framework of the original mix.

So I took advantage of this anniversary to completely rework and re-record "New Born Jelly", to make a few technical corrections, 
and some sequences I hadn't used at the time. 

And as no two mixes or recordings are ever the same, I was also keen to carry out this little experiment in which I took pleasure in erasing all the « cues » and references from the time, to find myself freewheeling on this new recording.

Inspiré par les musiques électroniques dès le plus jeune âge, Egeon commence à mixer à 18 ans sur des premiers DJ sets electro-house à Paris au Mixer Bar, où il fera la rencontre de Delphine (DJ SEXTOY). Se liant d’amitié, elle l’invitera à mixer avec elle aux soirées Ladies Room, au Pulp ainsi qu’au Dépôt sous le nom de DJ Guyzmo. 
Repéré par Eric Hauville, fondateur de la radio Maxximum, il devient assistant de production de Pschent music, label pour lequel il travaille à cette époque sur les compilations Hôtel Costes, Buddha Bar, Maxim’s et Mezzanine de l'Alcazar.
Deux ans plus tard, il prend la résidence du Delaville Café où il crée ses premières soirées Mister Fur. A cette occasion il fait entrer la musique électronique minimale dans cette belle maison des Grands Boulevards. 
Egeon poursuit ensuite ses créations de soirées sur Lyon, Paris, Genève, Toulouse, Nice et Montpellier - sous le nom de Furox et Alaskan Fur. 
Désormais installé à Nice, il amène avec lui son univers sonore sur la Côte d’Azur.

Inspired by electronic music from an early age, Egeon began mixing at the age of 18 on the first electro-house DJ sets in Paris at the Mixer Bar, where he met Delphine (DJ SEXTOY). As they became very good friends, she invited him to mix with her at Ladies Room parties, at the Pulp as well as at the Depot under the name of DJ Guyzmo.
Spotted by Eric Hauville, founder of Maxximum radio, he became a production assistant for Pschent music, a label for which he worked at that time on the compilations Hôtel Costes, Buddha Bar, Maxim's and Mezzanine de l'Alcazar.
Two years later, he took up residence at the Delaville Café where he created his first Mister Fur parties. On this occasion he brought minimal electronic music into this beautiful house of the Grands Boulevards.
Egeon then continued its parties creations in Lyon, Paris, Geneva, Toulouse, Nice and Montpellier - under the names of Furox and Alaskan Fur.
Now based in Nice, he brings his sound universe with him to the French Riviera.
