Hey. Been a hot minute.

College has been really freaking rough up until a few weeks ago, and I've needed some time to decompress. That, celebrating Christmas, and general lack of motivation has led to me not making any songs that I'm satisfied with.

So to make up for that and get one more thing on here before the year ends, I'm posting this. I'll try to push myself harder in 2023, especially since I have some things in the works that I'm excited about.

OddlyMerged is a final composition of seven tracks which have been developed specifically with the intention of being combined for this release. Each piece has its own experience in the way rhythms and percussions interact with one another.

The tracks are a combination of modifications and fusion of various melodic and drum ideas. Each piece, from deep basslines to experimental synths, is a study of sound and texture. The elaborately designed melodies, which are interlaced with the percussion components, add to the music's intricacy.

From start to finish, the listener is taken on a musical journey, with each track building on the one before it to create a seamless soundscape. The concept of contrast serves as the foundation for the final three tunes. They experiment with the notion of combining two unique sounds to make something new.

The album is an investigation of the limits of music production. It is evidence of the ability of imagination to produce something fresh and original. Oddly enough, the songs all mesh together in an engaging and fascinating way.
