El productor milanés, conocido por sus lanzamientos en Mord, Warm Up, Semantica y Non Series, firma aquí un track diseñado para el club, pero cargado de profundidad emocional.

"Destino" despliega una rítmica tensa y contenida, que avanza con determinación sobre una arquitectura sonora minimalista y envolvente. La energía es hipnótica, casi ritual, envuelta en texturas sutiles y un pulso constante que seduce desde la primera escucha. Es una pieza que define el enfoque de Viels: precisión quirúrgica al servicio de la pista de baile.

Viels and Francesco Della Sata co-own the Berlin-based techno label End of Perception, which has released music by a variety of artists, including Takaaki Itoh, Ness, Brendon Moeller, Deepbass, and ORBE.

Viels, a seasoned DJ and producer from Milan, has performed with DVS1, DJ Nobu, Setaoc Mass, Steve Bicknell, and many others throughout Europe. He also maintains a residency at the Acquario event. In addition to his appearances on End of Perception, his exceptional production approach has been included on imprints like Bas Mooy's Mord, Oscar Mulero's Warm Up, Psyk's Non Series, Svreca's Semantica, and Edit Select Records. He has also collaborated on releases with fellow Italian Pyramidal Decode.

For this DT:Premiere we selected "Primo Respiro" that has an ethereal sound full of ambiance and hypnotics. The taut percussion and disjointed kick drum in this heads-down groove are accompanied with cyclical pulses.

In quick succession to ARCS-03, which boasted remixes by The Mover, Shifted and Peder Mannerfelt, Cassegrain keep up the pressure with a new EP of originals on ARCS-04.

Returning to their tunnelling hypnotic trademark sound over three focused, club-ready trips, the Arcing Seas heads channel varied and irrepressible moods into each track. Built on solid dancefloor foundations and rich in colourful, non-conventional sound design, they scan through tribal ritualism with A side 'Shahmaran', moving to the pumping urgency of 'Caracal' and the rolling post-acid workout of 'Vulpine'.

ARCS-04 is a straight-up DJ-friendly 12'', something that's conveyed in the record’s more minimalist artwork. The sleeves have been hand-screen printed in Berlin by Alex from Cassegrain.
