An absolute classic. Took a long time to get the arpeggios somewhat consistent, and while it's not perfect this is the cleanest performance I've managed to capture. Enjoy!

To Zanarkand - Final Fantasy X (26 - 05 - 2018)

Recording with correct chords this time... aside from one... see if you can spot it! Also a bit weird on the timing and a heavy keypress or two appears to have auto-compressed itself. All in all, not happy (as usual) but it'll do (as usual).

Special thanks to Arista for introducing me to this song! So many variants and interpretations across so many instruments, I thought I would add mine to the pile.

A couple of small mistakes as ever, but definitely a fluke compared to usual performance quality.

Sloppy, but still a lot of fun! Learned in honour of Lobrocop. Always eat the bone.

Went back and listened to the original reference performance a bunch, and had some inspiration to re-record this piece. Still one of my absolute favourites, one day I hope to really be able to do it justice

***DISCLAIMER*** This session was set up for a friend, I just stole some time on the piano to do one take of a few pieces! Not happy with playing quality in most of these.

Anyway, the setup was an old (1899 kinda old) Steinway baby grand in my friend Pete's living room, a Steinberg UR-RT4 interface and two AT2020 mics. EQ and mild post-pro performed by Pete Flint.
